Bareminerals I love you! I have been using Bareminerals since 7th grade. This product is life changing. One year of my life I used another brand and saw how bad my skin got while using it. As soon as I went back to Bareminerals my skin cleared up. I only used the tinted moisturizer and this concealer is game changing! It makes your eyes pop. I had very high hopes for this concealer as I love the Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Cream. Unfortunately, the concealer did not live up to my expectations. Upon the product coming out of the tube, it is this awful grainy texture that does not improve no matter how I work it. Whether I use a sponge, a brush or my fingers, this product applies so patchily and immediately makes my undereye skin look dry and crepe-y - this happens regardless of how I prep my undereye area. Setting powders and spray do not do anything to prevent the concealer settling into my fine lines and creasing. The product itself does nothing to help with my undereye shadows. 1 star goes towards the colour match for my Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel, which is per the Bare Minerals website guide. I love Bare Minerals products but I'd never used any of their face products. I need a good under eye concealer as my under eye area is often puffy and dark. I liked that the Complexion Rescue concealer is supposed to depuff and brighten. While I like the concealer in terms of it covering my dark circles, I have a couple of difficulties with it. Neutrogena recently discontinued my usual under eye concealer. I was looking for a replacement that also provided some sun protection. This under eye concealer provides good coverage for the dark circles under my eyes and doesn't sink into my creases. I dot it on and lightly blend. I usually use Buff in Neutrogena. The Bare Minerals website recommended Fair Vanilla, but it was too light for me. I had the same issue with Fair Birch. I am tan with yellow undertones, and light Bamboo was a good match for me. I was concerned that whenever I buy this concealer, the EXP date on the box is usually 6 months or less away. A little goes a long way, so I don't think I'll finish before the EXP date. I tried this for the first time and do like it. I wanted a concealer to help with dark circles and under eye bags. A plus is it has an SPF which is super important. The reason for the tree stars is the tube. It is horrible. I find it complicated to get just the right amount out. It is either way too much and I end up wasting it or it is too little and I have to keep trying to apply which some has already dried under the eye making an even layer complicated. Bare Minerals PLEASE change the tube to a wand or a brush. Something other than this. I ordered the color Birch. It is perfect for my skin tone. I'm fair with a nude/beige tone.

It didnt do anything special to make me want to use it more than my current product.I tried it on my under eyes were I do have dark circles and little bags but didn't notice any brightening at all. I don't even think it did as good of a job covering my circles as other products. It did blend well, and stayed put with no creasing which is nice - but if they point is to brighten, I want it to do so.I thought maybe since it didn't brighten it might be good for other parts of my face so I put the tiniest dot on a blemish and holy cow was it awful.
