An excellent car roof rack. Light and durable and easy to assemble and mount. Looks very nice too.

It fits in cross bars rack as well! The seller was very thoughtful and he sent an U piece that was missing to attach to the cross bars in my car :) awesome communication with MyDeal customer service as well. 10/10

I was disappointed when a package arrived with the Roof Basket as it was all in parts. I then had to assemble it, with very poor instruction sheet. Also the design was poor in the connection to the roof rails, and I had to spend another $65 to find another method of fixing it.

Easy to assemble, solid when assembled, fits car bars well and looks good. Also no wind noise when driving, recommend for the price.

Extremely light construction but can be upgraded for under 100.00.

The roof tray is a good design. I did not expect it t be super strong for the price but I did not expect it to be made from such thin material. I upgraded its strength by adding fore heavy duty aluminum strips to get the result I wanted. The rack came with instructions written in an Asian language which I ask the supplier to send an English version. that never happened so I worked it out myself by the photos.

Good for the Price

Aestheticly looks good and very lite. However the original bolts and screws holding it together once assembled is pretty bad. I had to put in additional screws to make it stronger just for peace of mind. Overall once it was completed and installed I'm still pretty happy with it. It did take longer to put together with all the fiddly screws and additional screws but at the end of the day, you get what you paid for. $169 + screws from Bunnings $10 = $179. Not bad if comparing to Rhino Rack for $1000 plus

Not impressed

Item arrived late and damaged with dents and scratches. Instructions are in chinese with poor quality photos. As a result it took long to asssemble as steps needed redoing. Used it for a week on holiday. Not impressed. Difficult to toe things down without damaging roof rack sides. Would not recommend

Quality issues

Corner plastic parts were thin and lower quality. All of fastening screws, washers, bolts... etc should be stainless steel and especially nuts must be locked nut ( Nylon nuts)so basket won't loose and parts not come off over the period for safety reason. I wouldn't mind pay a bit extra for better quality . Assembly instructions need to be clearer for some one who has poor mechanical sense. Metal and paint quality are fine.

Really good quality for the price

I was positively surprised. In due fairness I wasn't expecting something like this for the price. It is not too fiddly to mount and it does the job. All structure comes in a kit to be mounted from scratch. It is lightweight aluminium, except the 2 supporting bars that are made of steel, so we didn't use them and decided to use heavy duty aluminium ones instead. Box was damaged during transport, so unfortunately some parts went missing, but we easily found fitting screws and anchors that could do the job.

The cardboard box it comes in is the sturdiest part.

Add to this any mild steel locking brackets to add torsional stability are made from steel with the strenght of silly putty, requiring next to little tortion applied to the associated threaded bolt to totally strip any thread rendering the locking brackets useless.
