Great colour, poor formula and longevity
This is the ninth Barry M nail paint in my collection - I'm normally a big fan. The colour of this is absolutely gorgeous, but I'm really disappointed in the formula. It went on very patchy on the first coat, evened up reasonably well (but not fully) on the second. I suspect with three coats you'd get full coverage, but it would be very dark and you'd lose a lot of the lovely cherry-coloured undertones. High shine with my usual top coat.Within 24 hours, however, there was significant chipping and the polish had completely popped off three of my nails. Usually my Barry M paints will last me 3+ days (with small touch-ups). This was very disappointing. I bought the same colour as a gift for my sister who had the same experience, unfortunately. Doubt I'll wear again - ... MoreThis is the ninth Barry M nail paint in my collection - I'm normally a big fan. The colour of this is absolutely gorgeous, but I'm really disappointed in the formula. Just needs to be shaken up
You definitely need to have 3 coats on of this shade but it's a lovely colour so it's the extra effort. If you shake up the bottle that will help the varnish to spread more evenly. A teeny-tiny bit brownish shade, the lightest ever possible that is only visible when your hands are in the shade. When they are in a well lit area then they are white, but not bright white but rather a buttery colour. Super nice, my favourite.... Show more

Lemon nail paint
I much prefer the darker shades of nail paints as opposed to light ones. However this is a lovely shade of yellow not too bright and not too pale either. Great for rainbow nails or a Spring manicure. As always a great finish which is the norm for Barry M Hi Gelly nail polish.... Show more

My Favourite Lilac Shade
This is my favourite lilac nail polish from a mainstream brand. It covers well in 2 coats and I have some ridges on a couple of my nails. Lasts on me a good 3-4 days (I'm EXTREMELY heavy on my nails). I sometimes pair it with the shade Lavender (which is much paler) to do a "skittle" type mani. Love it, very glossy even without a top coat. Whenever any is looking for a lilac/lavender shade of purple I always recommend this one.... Show more

My new favourite
Love this polish. The first coat is really opaque and it dries relatively quickly too. But best of all it lasts forever. I use my hands a lot, they are constantly in and out of water and this polish managed to last just under a week which is my personal best. Usually polish chips after 1-2 days for me!The color is also gorgeous, I never knew I wanted grey nails until I tried this and now it's my go to.... Show more

The best colour.
I only ever buy Barry M & Sally Hansen nail varnish’s as they are such good quality. Bought this BarryM Candy Floss colour and LOVE how it looks, so easy to apply, dries as a lovely glossy look. The colour itself is my favourite.. it’s a very subtle pastel pink. I use 3 coats just so it’s not streaky as light colours can sometimes be a little bit streaky with one coat. and once dried they look really good! Will definitely be buying again when I run out!... Think vermillion rather than tangerine
Based on a review that said this was a perfect pumpkin colour, we took a chance on buying online. Colour is different in real life, much more of a reddish orange, so not very pumpkin-like. Rather disappointed that photo mis-led but still used for Halloween. Barry M have been a favourite for colourful products gor me for over 23 years but it is sad such a small selection can be seen in real life.... Show more

Very Pale Lavender
This is a lot paler in real life than the photo shows. It's a more of a white with a couple drops of purple. Saying that it's a lovely shade and very glossy. I personally find it can go on a little streaky on me but that's mostly because of the ridges in my nails than the formula so I need 3 coats or a ridge filling base coat (it goes on my Mum's nails lovely). I you're looking for a very very pale purple shade you can't go wrong with this. Barry M is one of my favourite main stream nail brands, you can't beat it for the price and quality.... Show more
