The product is great but the packaging was disgusting.The box was barely holding together, thank goodness for blue tape.Inside packing was worse except for plenty of white tapeCans were falling everywhere when tape gave up and two landed on my kitchen

English mushy peas go perfectly

English mushy peas go perfectly with baked french fries. Taste good with veggie burgers, and poached or fried eggs too. I can’t imagine making home made mushy peas from scratch - a can is so convenient for days when some comfort food is needed.

Good but have blue in them

Too much colouring added, I know it makes them a “more attractive” green but honestly I wouldn’t mind them a little less vibrant. Can’t be good for us surely?? I do like the mushy peas though, just concerned about the artificial colouring.

Good quality, good value.

Living alone often means wasting food, but I find that half a tin of these is enough for a meal, and then I store the other half in a jar in the fridge and they will last 2-3 days, so I do not have to have the same meal 2 days running. They have a good colour, a pleasing texture, and the taste is delicious. They are a regular on my order.

I usually cook my own

I usually cook my own mushy peas, using Batchelors dried peas; the canned version tasted to me like sweet peas, not what I was hoping for. Ok, but not the same as the box of Batchelors dried peas, cooked at home.

Love having a faithful source

Love having a faithful source for these products. The HP Sauce in squeeze bottle makes it easier to use entire contents. Flavorful on any protein. Mushy Peas are fun and a new flavor in the vegetable world for us - haven't had them since vacationing in the UK.

Nice Flavour

For canned mushy peas, these a quite nice actually. There isn't a lot of liquid in these though, so you'll have to dig 'em out of the can with a spoon. You may want to add a little water as well as the peas come out in congealed lumps. Just stir them in a pan over a low heat, adding however much water you like, for the consistency of the mushy peas and you're done. I wouldn't put in too much water in case it takes away any of the flavour. I really like these. They're quick and easy, also, they taste nice as well.

Very versatile lovely peas.

Very nice. They go lovely with fish and chips but also taste good with rice and chicken. Never thought to try before but tasted great.

Whenever I go to the

Whenever I go to the dairy drive in and buy fish and chips, I always bring them home and add mushy peas. I cannot find mushy peas locally. Please keep in your inventory. They are uniquely British.
