The shampoo absorbs fat, making the appearance of the hair better, cleaner, without overdrying it, which is perhaps the only plus of this product. The result could last longer, but in general it’s already good. The effect of clean hair lasts almost all day, and by the evening the hair still becomes much fatter than after using shampoo. The biggest jamb of Batista - it can’t be washed off your head. My usual shampoos can’t cope with it. Without a trace, I can remove this dry shampoo from my hair only with a scalp scrub. Well, if you don’t completely wash off the shampoo, my head itches, and my greasy hair at the roots after washing and drying with a hair dryer does not look perfectly clean, as it should be after washing my head. And finally, I’ll say that the fragrance (and for me it’s not the most pleasant) is felt until you wash your hair.

I waited to write this review until I was able to use this multiple times. I would say, it works! I wash my hair every other day, so by the second day, sometimes it needs a little help. Enter this product. I spray it into my roots and brush it in with my hands, and it definitely takes the grease out. I took a star off for two reasons: the floral scent, while pleasant in small doses, is pretty strong otherwise! I end up smelling it throughout the day right up until I shower it out in the evening. Also, like many dry shampoos, if you don’t rub it into your hair thoroughly, it definitely leaves white streaks which make me look like I have patches of grey hair. I love this dry shampoo! For background I have super long, medium density hair that I wash every other day and I have bangs, which get oily rather quickly compared to the rest of my hair. Batiste makes my hair look clean and soft, not greasy! I have used it on 4 day unwashed hair before (depression!) and while it may not look like I just shampooed that day, it does help A LOT! Great product (if you know how to use dry shampoo!)

As someone who worked in “luxury cosmetics” for years, this is hands down the best quality and price dry shampoo. The low reviews, if not attributed to a faulty nozzle, seem to be attributed to user error in my opinion. I don’t mean this to be condescending, but there is a right and wrong way to use dry shampoo…. If you are spraying it directly on the top of your head, of course you are going to have white residue even after you rub it in! You need to lift your hair in small sections and spray UNDER the lifted section at the root. Then rub it in. This will give you way better volume AND oil absorption! I also personally find it works and looks best when I do this at NIGHT before bed. Your scalp/hair produces a ton of oil while you sleep. I was so excited to receive a gift card from Ulta to purchase the Batiste Dry Shampoo in the Fresh Breezy Citrus scent. And my favorite thing about this product was definitely the scent. It smells clean, citrusy, and feminine (It goes really well with my Tocca Stella perfume, which has citrus notes as well.)The other thing that is nice about this dry shampoo is the packaging. The bottle is cute, bright, and has a nice smooth texture. I don't think this is meant to give you the big, sticky, teasable root lift that we used to use dry shampoo for in the early 2000s. This is much more subtle, cleaner, and refreshing. It feels like what it says: refreshing.I like how easy it us to use, as well. You just shake, section your hair, and spray. It seems a bit forceful when it comes out, so it feels like I am using a lot of product and that a lot of it sprays elsewhere. You also have to be sure to shake it up and not spray too much in one spot or it can give a gray, powdery look to your hair. That is easily fixable by brushing it out or if need be, taking a towel and going it a quick wipe.Overall I really like this product, and for $12, I would buy it again. I used it on my hair, which normally goes about a week between washes in fall and winter, and it really freshened it up and made it smell great, gave it a little more volume, and made it feel soft. I recommend!

Smells amazing but leaves a tacky residue

I was so excited to get to try the new Batiste 24hr dry shampoo, I’m a huge dry shampoo person as I only like to wash my hair once a week so this was perfect for me. So the Pros of this product are the smell is absolutely beautiful it apply easy to the hair and gives it that much needed boost to look fresh again, it distributes for the can all over and can leave a white powder like look on your hair but that literally disappears once you brush/style your hair. I loved that every time I touched my hair all I could smell was the beautiful fragrance even when just twirling round my fingers it let off this amazing fragrance, my hair was great all day and looked like it had just been washed and stayed how I styled it so absolutely fantastic product. Now the Cons of the product, I say cons but I’m actual fact there was only 1 issue i faced which was the day after I used the dry shampoo my hair had this tacky feel to it like there was still a lot of product in my hair and it didn’t feel or look nice, I tried to give my hair another blast of the dry shampoo but just made it worse so was a little disappointed in that as use there other dry shampoos all the time and the next day it just brushes out, so that would be my only slight downfall. Will I use again, absolutely as the pros outweigh the cons, although when using i would ensure the following day is a hair wash day as I couldn’t reapply the dry shampoo for a second day. Overall great product and I really like the concept and would highly recommend
