It's a ladies' machine, just for keeping the edges tidy on a regular basis. It is no use for deep overgrown grass and/or weeds. In a nutshell its not a serious line trimmer, not quite a toy but it is equal to a feather duster it helps to keep the dust down [grass]

Easy to use, lightweight, does the simple jobs. It aint the big petrol German beast (and certainly not that price), but ideal for small gardens.

Is easy n lightweight to handle. Excellent for trimming around trees as it doesn't ringbark them! Battery life is average but quick to recharge. The extension system didn't tighten up to stop it from closing in. I had to fully extend it then tape it with multiple wraps to keep it extended...hence 4 stars

Excellent trimmer - at best price on the internet

Bought through Harvey Norman at best price I could find on the internet. Excellent trimmer - works very well, and great value at what I paid at the time.

Excellent, essential tool around home garden and more

User friendly. Light and hard working product. At first I had second thoughts about it as I never used battery operated garden tool before. I found this product extremely useful especially on hilly areas where weight factor is most important. I don’t need to mix petrol/oil, messy affair. Battery charges quickly and off I get into it. Wrapped in the product. Has my total recommendation. Tad P.

It’s the best whipper snipper I’ve ever used

This is my second one, my son “borrowed” my first one and it’s never found it’s way home……. This is by far the best I’ve ever bought. Sturdy and battery goes a fair way. Would recommend purchase

Line trimmer

Works ok, lots of adjustments to make it effective as an edger, probably, probably it’s best feature. But you can also get this on the Aldi unit which is much cheaper. Also battery not compatible with other Baum-r devices which is a big disappointment as the battery is quite small

No cutting power. Not good

The only positive thing, is that it is very light.It does not cut through grass. It just pushes it aside.The line snaps, even when hitting dirtI have to manually feed the line, as the auto-feed does not work as described in the instructions.Awkward to use in the flat head position. The edging position feels natural, but the flat position is just wrong.Do not buy this. Save up money for a while and buy a more powerful one.

Quality and Performance at Good Price

The unit assembles easily, has a logical and easy functionality and performs well. Battery life is about 40 minutes at full load and that's enough for my needs. The default line fitted to machine is very good and there is an optional line head, which I also purchased for future use. The unit is light enough but solid, not flimsy. I can recommend this line trimmer.

Would be ideal for a quick tidy up of garden

Not really suited to dealing with the aftermath of winter, thick weeds or long grass, would only suite being used to tidy up small areas, etc.
