I was abit skeptical when I bought it but the ants are drinking this stuff up. After a couple of days I haven't seen the trail of ants since so it must be working. Best way for this to work is to abruptly put it on the ant trail, even if it means that you're squirting some on ants. It doesn't work if the liquid is nearby the trail.
