Best case I have ever had the opportunity to work with. The "BeQuiet" statement is very true and the tempered glass panel can be fitted to eight side as all the internal guts can be moved about. 2 x 5.24 bays, 3 x 3.5" cages, 2 x 2.5" SSD housings, so a total of possibly 7 drives. Also this case will take a full size graphics card, two if you are willing to lose 1 of the 3.5" cages. The metal side panel on the other side hides nearly all the cables with Velcro ties. I have also installed a BeQuiet dual fan water cooler. The BeQuiet cases come in various sizes to a full tower (60cm) and they have additional features. German engineering at its best.

Wow! A great case. I've only used cheap cases in the past and was very impressed with the quality for the money with this Pure Base 600. Build was very easy, everything fits beautifully and the layout is flexible. I used an Arctic Freezer II 240 cpu cooler which just fits and there was plenty of room for my old GTX970 GPU which is quite large. Sound control is excellent, just a soft whisper from the fans. The HD carriers have soft rubber anti-vibration mounts. Sound damping material is fitted to stop the panels resonating and the case is solidly built and not inclined to rattle or buzz. The noise from my pc is much quieter than the noise from my mic (or the fridge which is in the kitchen) now. Very pleased I spent the extra money. I bought some extra HD carriers on ... MoreWow! I bought some extra HD carriers on ebay but they came without the rubber mounts and could not be used. I sent an email to Be Quiet! in Germany asking if I could buy some and they said they would be happy to send me some with compliments. And they arrived in a couple of days. A great case and great service from the company, couldn't be better!

Looked good at first for one of the few cases with 5 1/4 DVD bays. Full tinted glass side panel, removable drive bays to allow more room and airflow, front panel 3-speed case fan control and removable top cover revealing another large honeycomb vent and radiator mounts.Then... Noticed only one front panel fan fitted so had to buy another slightly different one as no 900rpm fans available !. The advert talks of several additional fan slots but the built in controller only has three outputs and two were already in use !?. When I came to fit an ATX motherboard I found only 8 screws provided when 9 were needed and one of the motherboard mounting turrets had no thread in it !? (no spares provided either). I previously bought a Be Quiet! Dark Base 900 for my server build and loved it, so I decided to try this one for my daily use Windows PC build. I was looking for a mid-tower size that would support an optical drive and have a glass side panel. Since I have several other machines in my home office I also wanted something that would keep noise to a minimum. I'm very pleasantly surprised with the Pure Base 600 case! It is easy to see that it is well-built, it looks great, and the price is extremely competitive. The support for optical drives plus plenty of 3.5 and 2.5 bays is excellent. Cooling options are plentiful (though not so much as the more-expensive Dark Base). I would highly recommend this case.
I was looking for a case that has a minimum of two 5.25 external drive bays. The choices were slim for something that looked good until I found this one! It is a good quality case and I love the Black & Orange color scheme. I read the other reviews and was a little hesitant but decided to buy it anyway. I'm very glad I did. This case has plenty of internal drive bays, great design for hiding wiring and came with two fans. I would recommend it highly to anyone that wants a nice looking and functional case. Some reviews mentioned airflow problems but I haven't had any trouble with that, I'm not interested in doing any overclocking or anything to create high heat conditions. Over all I feel it is an excellent case for the price and I am completely satisfied with it. Plus it looks really cool too!!!
Ok the good part is The case came within 2 days,55 for Mindfactory team!On the case i got it on the cheap side,49 Euros on Mindstar with NO transport fees. The case looks good,it is really quiet, the fan knob is very good. The silicon pads around the cable-holes are a nice touch although a bit sensitive and they get pulled out,so use your cable passes carefully. The cable management on the backside of the motherboard is mehhh , not the best channels but there is a lot of space between the backside and the backpanel so its all good in my case 3 hdds +2 ssds cable wise. The Case is used in a studio machine and it fulfils its role. The fans are really quiet when they are set to scale 13 and at the maximum level 33 they are barely audiblestill audible in a quiet ... MoreOk the good part is The case came within 2 days,55 for Mindfactory team!On the case i got it on the cheap side,49 Euros on Mindstar with NO transport fees. The fans are really quiet when they are set to scale 13 and at the maximum level 33 they are barely audiblestill audible in a quiet environment. The overall isolation looks good so far and temperatures of the components and well in range. The dust part its yet unknown, i will know in 2 months in the 1rst cleaning cycle.1 BAD THING THOUGH and it has to do with BeQuiet QM more than mindfactory. The case came in the classic carton case with the standard white foam and a plastic bag around it,it was very safe within the case, there was no damage on the outside of the case OR on the foam BUT the 1 screw on left low corner as you look the case from behind was BEND and the back side metal of the case around the area was also BEND,its not such a big damage BUT the screw needs to be inserted kind of sideways and you can actually see the dent on the metal from the proper angle or just by feeling the surface with your fingers. Thats a big disappointment for me in the BeQuiet Quality management since this case was safely in the carton boxwhite foam and it seems that it was packaged this way. Due to the need to finish building the system i had no time to return it and wait 1+ week and all the hustle.
I really have to laugh at the comments that say that SSDs don't fit in the SSD mounting brackets on the backside of the motherboard plate. People, the SSDs go ON TOP of the brackets. A simple perusal of the "manual" would have clarified that. Those brackets are not intended to cover the SSDs (too narrow for that) and clamp them to the motherboard plate. The are spacers to elevate the SSDs off the motherboard plate so the SATA power and data cables have some room to connect to the SSDs. Once fastened on the the brackets it is very easy indeed to remove and reinstall the SSDs in the computer. Sure in a case off this price, not everything is perfect, but, it provides some nice features and good interior space for a mid-tower case.
I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a really quiet PC, such as living in a small apartment and or dwelling with people who sleep on different schedules, and/or need quiet for other reasons. For people like me, who have built their PCs for decades, not necessarily recommended, because various adapters, such as the Laptop SSD/Hard Drive adapters that I already have don't fit with their screws or mine, since their drive holders have custom shock absorbers where their screws fir on the sides, and for the bottom/ and or top of the holder. Unfortunately, they don't seem to work for my drives. I'm sure that they have an accessory adapter for it, but...
As mentioned above, this is a solid/pretty case with terrible air flow. NOT recommended for 'hot' systems. The temps of my Ryzen 7 2700X system kept going up higher and higher while transcoding video. That's because, although this case has room for 2 fans in the front, those fans choke due to the fact that the front panel is a solid wall with only tiny holes in the sides (covered with metal mesh) for the system to breathe. This caused my system temps to increase beyond the safe point forcing me to shut the system down. In order to solve this I did what any DIY inclined person would do: I cut a big 8.5" X 5" hole in the middle of the front panel and glued some mesh material over it in order for the front fans to breathe. In order to solve this I did what any DIY inclined person would do: I cut a big 8.5" X 5" hole in the middle of the front panel and glued some mesh material over it in order for the front fans to breathe. This resulted in the temps coming down to a more tolerable level. It also threw the 'quiet' factor out the window! The case came with some quality-control issues out of the box as well: 2 of the mobo standoffs were out of alignment (they did not align with the mobo holes) This I solved by bending them back with pliers-luckily they did not brake. 1/4 of the noise-damping material that comes glued to the side panel also keeps detaching itself every time I remove it. I would not recommend this case to anyone with a system that needs some serious cooling. I would have kept my old Cooler Master CM-590 III had I known these issues.
This case is rather small. And it does very little to suppress noise. Do not use this case if you intend to use a AIO (All in One) water cpu cooler, unless the radiator is on the small side. From what I can tell, a radiator with 120mm 2-fans can be made to fit at the top, or for 140mm fans your motherboard should not have anything taller than about 0.5 inches for about an inch or so from the top edge. If the case was an inch taller then there wouldn't be a problem for the top mount location. I don't think there is room for a radiator at the front or bottom of the case.
