The Beal Antidote is a great climbing rope choice whether you are a beginner at the wall, or an expert at the crag. Ergonomically designed, light and super compact, this is a very intuitive rope to use - perhaps surprising, given the wide diameter of this rope - making it also particularly resistant to abrasions. Crucially, with a UIAA rating of 8, you can climb with the reassurance of a rope that will really work to best catch your fall. Certified with the 100% Nylon Bluesign label, this rope fits right in with the natural setting to which it’s used.

I bought this rope ~6 mos ago and have used for maybe 20ish days of climbing, mostly on for top ropes and to save to some wear on my more expensive dry ropes. Handles well for such a thick rope and has held up well. Weight is not that much more than my 9.5mm, but volume is noticeably larger. I would probably recommend 9.5-9.8mm for a beater rope with the advances in rope tech, but pleased with Beal.

Super service from Dicks' climbing and next day delivery. This is the perfect indoor (and outdoor) sport climbing rope. Excellent width and handling and it comes cut to any length so no problems worrying about getting twists when uncoiling it for the first time!

First two ropes I bought for use in recreational tree climbing. The middle marking large and clear. The rope diameter works well in most brakes and belay devices. The sheath fine grained and knitted tightly and smooth. Good value at the price Beware: The rope is not treated to reduce water absorption. It is not meant for extreme conditions.
Thank you for the business ...I love this rope! Great price !!
Very supple and handles well, except it’s turning black from aluminum oxide. This makes it sticky in a belay device. This also turns my hands and clothes black.
Perfect delivery. And although they did not know how to give me the manufacturing date in advance, the truth is that it is from the same year of purchase, a guarantee
This is a solid rope and my go to when teaching friends to belay. The the thicker diameter makes it easier for a newcomer to manage. This is a strong durable rope. My go to outdoors and indoors when I forget my 40m.
It has arrived quickly and well wrapped, it is from this year, the colors very well, and now it only remains to try it in sportswear,
