Enters the Beats Flex...I love the magnetic design to keep the buds together which enhances security around your neck. I've had these become lopsided on my neck before maybe a handful of times but I honestly think is because I didn't center them on my neck to begin with. Had these for a few weeks and really loving them! These have to be the best headphones you can get for the price. You get the same seamless pairing between your Apple devices like the Airpods but these have integrated controls for volume and play/pause/accept call. I mainly use them with an iPhone but had no issues pairing them to a windows laptop. The soft rubber tips on the earbuds are also much more comfortable than the hard plastic on Airpods Gen 2 and the rubber also provides a decent level of noise isolation to block out background sound. The microphone is in the neck band which places it closer to you mouth and I haven't had any issues taking calls on them. Sound quality is also good with decent bass and clear sound. Some people might prefer fully wireless headphones but I prefer the wire since you'll never lose one earbud and you don't have to carry around a charging case. I wear these like a necklace beneath my shirt and often forget I'm wearing them. USB C cable is included in the box but no charging brick. Fantastic for the price, highly recommend them!

Disappointed with the volume level
2 August 2022

I bought these for the W1 chip so I could use while I work out with my iPhone or iPad as I switch back and forth for particular workouts. I didn’t want to spend $200 bucks for the Beats Pro or AirPods. I got these in a price match for $35. Glad I didn’t pay full price. The sound is nowhere near as loud as the others. I was very disappointed. For context I am hearing impaired. I have used other ear buds and usually have to put them near around 80-90 percent volume to hear some podcasts comfortably. I put these Beats at full blast and could barely make out those podcasts I listen to. Not loud at all. I gave up on the podcasts. The neck loop is more rigid than I prefer as its a harder plastic that keeps it form. Mediocre at best

These are mediocre at best. The only alert sounds they make are when you turn them off, when bluetooth is connected, or when they die. They don't alert you when the battery is getting low, they just die. The sound quality is okay. The instructions that came with them don't tell you how to use them - I had to google how to turn them on and off. When they say the battery is good for 12 hours, they mean 12 hours, so at least that was direct. The ear buds don't form fit to your ear like rubber ones do, and they collect dirt and junk like crazy. The magnet that keeps them together is strong though, so you don't have to worry about them coming off your neck when not in use, which is pretty much the only plus.I bought them because I lost the ear bud on my old ones, and ... MoreThese are mediocre at best. Not bad

I had this for 3-months now and so far it still served its purpose. I used this for handsfree communication as a field tech and not for listening music as you won’t appreciate the fidelity side of it. So handy as it just hangs around my neck secured by its right and left magnet. I can hear clearly when making or receiving voice calls and also heard clearly from the opposite line. Now the downside. If you use an IOS phone to pair, the Bluetooth will momentarily cut-off from the phone and go standby mode when right and left buds clamped together by its magnet. Then reconnect Bluetooth as you detach the buds and ready to use. But if it is idle for a longer period, the headset shutdown and you need to switch on again. Also, careful when you are in a meeting because during idle state your IOS phone work as normal. So your phone rings on whatever ringer volume you have set and not through the headset. If you use this for strenuous activity, this is not for you as it won’t stay on your ears. Play around your IOS settings or watch YouTube video how to monitor battery level. No apps available for IOS as Beats Flex is an Apple product itself. If you used Android, you need to install Beats flex apps and can monitor battery levels from the apps. Beats won’t cut-off from Android phone during idle state. Its battery life can sustained for a day of intense usage. Charging doesn’t take long too.Overall I gave 4-stars. The downside took off 1-star from it.

Only lasts 14 months before failure

I used to really enjoy my Beats Flex headset. The battery lasted a long time, the fit in my ears was fairly good, it had a real volume control on it for easy use, it came with USB-C for charging, and it had the wire connecting both sides preventing loss should one earbud slip out of if you take it out to talk to someone. Now the downsides. From the start I hated the power on/off cycle. Instead of having a voice saying it was powered on it had a series of tones, I guess the rising tones means on while the desending tones mean off. But it's quick and darn it, just have it say it's on or off. But it's quick and darn it, just have it say it's on or off. I used to use my Beats Flex much more than my Air Pods Pro since the battery life is much more superior but read on for the major cons.I absolutely hate the plastic used for the housing and connecting wire. They appear to be some kind of ecological-friendly plastic which makes it stiff for the connecting wire so expect sometimes the wire kind of in your face instead of laying down. The worst offender of this plastic is that it is super prone to microfractures that end up cracking the hard plastic parts. My Beats Flex haven't been abused, and I even used a magnetic adapter for the USB-C port to prevent stress on this open port. The right earbud fell apart, and upon close examination there are cracks in the plastic case on both left and right earbuds in about the same place which shows poor material choice and natural stresses in the same place. Even the volume control and power button pods are cracking in the same places. Again, poor design and material choices. I used a tiny bit of SuperGlue to glue to right earbud back together after a failed attempt at using epoxy glue. The material doesn't like epoxy glue sticking to it.Finally, the Beats Flex refuses to charge. It's dead. Plugging power in doesn't light-up the LED, trying a reset according to Apple's instructions doesn't work. It's just landfill fodder now. I purchased it new from the Apple Store in July 2021, and it died September 2022.I cannot recomment anyone purchasing this headset.

These issues have been going on for 6 months and continue to affect my service after new activated replacement. BEWARE of Verizon, zero stars contract is almost up.

I love that neckband headphones are still on the market! These work great! They connect easily, they have good solid bass when fully inserted in your hear and quality sound overall. The magnetic feature that pauses music / videos and saves battery is a winner. The interplay with Apple products is also a winner. You get to see battery life and have more controls and information than with other Bluetooth devices. The range is decent as well. The battery life is also acceptable I can go a full business day of use on a single charge. I had to replace these only once as the plastic around the buds came unstuck. But I like these so much I just bought another pair! I have no complaints or cons about these as they meet all my basic needs for a simple headset for phone calls ... MoreI love that neckband headphones are still on the market! These work great! It’s not for audiophiles. Got another pair for “jamming” to music. But as an everyday on the go for conversation and just “hearing” content you can’t lose with these. They are a great value.

saved me through a rough patch in life
12 February 2023

these headphones got me through a rough patch in life. i needed to tune into videos that God, the most high God, was leading me to. and airpods did not make the cut. AIRPODS have short battery life and they are not good when sleeping on your side. AIRPODS hurt your ear canal when laying on your side. THESE BEATS FLEX LITERALLY helped so much. they last more than a sleeping time frame which is more than enough, with extra battery to spare. This got me through sleeping in my car and in a loud verbally abusive household. This is a lifesaver. Never runs out of battery suddenly, LITERALLY ARE ALL DAY HEADPHONES, can wear around neck, but also have it in your ears all day. One ear in. Other ear out. WILL NOT LOSE HEADPHONES. WILL NOT DIE. THESE ARE TANKS 1 thing is make ... Morethese headphones got me through a rough patch in life. i needed to tune into videos that God, the most high God, was leading me to. and airpods did not make the cut. THESE ARE TANKS 1 thing is make sure you dont lose the rubber tip. If handled harshley the tip will fall off. but praying to God, He will help you find the lost eartip. I somehow found the lost eartips by the Grace of God.
