I was super excited to try these new Beats Studio Pro headphones. I had a previous iteration of Beats, and for the most part, I really liked them. These are a pretty solid set of headphones, but there are a few things I dislike. I’ll start with the pros. I love the matte finish. The sound is very crisp and clear. There were subtle aspects to several songs that I heard for the first time through these. The active noise cancelation is quite effective. I prefer to use the new transparency mode because I still like to hear some outside noise for safety, and the battery life isn’t impacted as much in this mode. The battery life is pretty great; however, it can be negatively impacted with ANC activated. The spatial audio has taken some getting used to, but I like it. The headset isn’t as comfortable as previous models and if you wear glasses, they can get squeezed to your head. I had to take my glasses off in order to wear the headphones comfortably. Maybe it’s just my big head! There is no auto pause which I really dislike. Additionally, there is no EQ which is a huge bummer for me. I like to be able to control treble and bass levels because all songs aren’t created equal. All in all, I like the Beats Studio Pro, but I can’t say that I love them.

Punchy beats with smooth, detailed sounds - these headphones are very versatile and fantastic for everyday use. Active Noise Cancellation is super useful when you are sitting in a noisier area. Pros: Comfortable to wear for hours on end, great battery life, sound is clear but still enough bass to give it a little more punch, mic is clear for the person on the other end when taking calls, no lag. When you use the cable to connect the headphones to your phone, the sound quality improves significantly, giving a deeper, richer sound. Also having find my on this is great too! Cons: connectivity could use some improvement - it is not as seamless as my airpods when connecting to my phone and switching from one device to another. Im still trying to figure out if it is actually as noise canceling as my previous headphones. I do wish the app allowed for more options to customize sound, not that its a deal breaker but i could see that being really cool as well as if they auto powered on when opened. As far as would i recommend them, absolutely. But of course i have some concerns based on the correlation between price point and durability that only time will tell! I hope to try more products from them and see how they expand their company in the sense of innovation.

The first thing I noticed when taking them out of the carrying case, was how compact they fold up into, which is perfect for on the go and traveling. I will also say that the case came with a slot for the charging cord, so you can keep everything in one place. Most importantly I love the crisp sound and acoustics that these provide listening to music and podcasts. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that’s looking for over the head noise cancelling headphones!

These headphones are absolutely beautiful, total aesthetic dream!! I love love love the color that I got (sandstone), it’s my favorite. These are a solid pair of headphones. I really like the quick charge and how long they last. They’re very comfortable for me and sit nicely on my ears. One thing I find strange is that they’re not very loud. I was really surprised by this. Usually, putting the volume almost all the way up when listening to music would deafen you with most headphones, but with these, I find almost all the way up is necessary. That’s fine if you’re not in a very loud environment, but I think it might become an issue if you’re somewhere loud, like on a plane. I’m not sure how well you’d be able to hear. The noise cancellation seems to be pretty decent too, but I haven’t tried these in super loud environments yet. The sound quality is very clear and crisp, surprisingly not a ton of bass though. I think these are a solid pair of headphones, and with a couple tweaks they’d be perfect. My biggest complaint is just that I wish they were a little louder! Love the colors and aesthetics of this line!

A Great Alternative to Airpods Max
25 July 2023

For context I own the Airpods Pro 2, Airpods 3, and previously owned the Airpods Max. I Picked these up because I wanted a pair of headphones that integrate well within the Apple ecosystem, but also wanted something much lighter than the Airpods Max. These sound surprisingly excellent from what I've played so far. The bass and mids are both pronounced and clear. There is some sparkle in the highs and I would describe them as bright which I prefer for clarity. These don't have the same dip that the Airpods Max do in the treble frequency response. They sound surprisingly excellent for Beats headphones. The sound stage is airy and there is good instrument separation. Beats has finally released a headphone that doesn’t sound overblown in the bass area. The sound profile is quite balanced and clear especially for Beats headphones. The 40 hour battery life is absolutely amazing. The inclusion of a headphone jack and usb-c charging is awesome and allows for lossless listening. The usual Apple fare of features is present. Transparency mode where you can hear your surrounding, and noise cancellation. Both modes are underwhelming and he transparency is particularly weak compared to AirPods and AirPods Max. Noise cancellation is solid but if you have larger ears the cups may not be big enough. Lossless listening takes away these features instead you get 3 preset sound profiles. A signature profile, and entertainment profile and a conversation style profile. They all do pretty good for their respective uses. Now the quirks which are the dealbreakers. Gone is the H1 chip from Apple and is a new Beats chip which allow setup of the headphones on both android and iOS to be seamless. While great for android users it takes away certain features present in much older Beats headphones such as Apples Headphone Accommodations feature is not usable with these Beats but spatial audio with head tracking is present. Automatic ear detection is gone so you must play manually or pause unlike AirPods Max which have this feature. Audio quality is excellent but do not believe the reviews that say they sound like AirPods Max they do not. They are more bass heavy and are prone to interference they just randomly cut out or even disconnect. What gives? Is this a problem with the new Beats chip? The build quality doesn’t feel good at all. In fact they feel just as cheap as the original Beats Studio headphones. It’s plastic all around and it snaps and folds into itself to go into its case. The case is nice but the headphones feel so cheaply made. Earcup on the older model used to come off or come loose. I’m almost certain that this model will have the same problems. Also once you start to excessively sweat too, it makes them impossible to wear. Although they aren’t as tight as the terrible Beats Solo Pro. Overall the headphones sound pretty good not as good as Air Pods Max and with the feature limits that other Apple and Beats headphones have I cannot recommend them. I spent almost a week with them and their quirks make it impossible for me to recommend

The transparency is better than every other headphone I've tried aside from any of the Airpods Pro or Max.As for the sound quality; it is the main reason I ended up returning these. For those who have experienced the Airpods Max's adaptive EQ and wide drivers, these will fall completely flat in comparison. The mids (vocals and most instruments) and high ends (guitars and hi hats) sound very clean and at times better than the Sony XM5s, however, the lack of bass and definition in comparison to the Airpods Max and Pro was disappointing from a brand that has a history for their emphasis on bass.Overall, these are good headphones and to those who are just getting into high end headphones, these will not disappoint and as an added bonus, they will look like a genuine fashion piece at times. However, for those looking to go with an alternative to replace their Airpods, these aren't it.

These Beats sound pretty good. Relatively balanced across the board. Honestly they’re clinical in the way all Apple products sound. There just isn’t much to say about the sound. It’s pleasant for 98% of people. However, soundstage feels strangely small.USB C input was a very handy feature but cant connect to an iphone for lossless audio. Its also nice to maintain the 3.5mm input. Buttons are real buttons, no capacitive touch controls that I can tell. I like the restrained look of most of the recent Beats products but I know some folks wish Beats would go for the more bold styling of their older product lines. The integration with iOS is, expectedly, great. These simply cannot stay more than 20 minutes on my head. Im curious as to why, I’ve had both Apple and Pre-Apple Beats products that were pretty comfy.I’m sure these are for someone, but not for me.

Alright, so I've been using the Beats Studio Pro headphones for a while now, and I've got to say, they've definitely got some impressive things going on. The sound quality is top-notch – crisp highs and deep bass that make my music really come alive. I've been rediscovering old classics and hearing details I never noticed before. The noise cancellation is a game-changer for me. With these headphones on, I can finally find some peace and quiet in my own little world, whether I'm on a noisy commute or just trying to unwind at home. It's like having my own personal escape button. The build quality is solid too. They feel durable and well-made, which is important since I tend to be a bit rough with my gadgets. Plus, the comfort factor is on point. I've worn them for hours during long flights without any discomfort or that annoying ear-squishing feeling. But here's the thing – they're not exactly subtle. I mean, they're a bit flashy with that big "B" logo and all. Sometimes I just want to blend in, you know? Also, the price tag is no joke. I get that quality comes at a cost, but it's still a bit of a wallet-pincher.All in all, if you're after excellent sound, killer noise cancellation, and a comfy fit, these headphones are definitely worth considering. They've become my go-to for my music and podcasts. Just keep in mind the bold design and the investment you're making.
