Beauty of Joseon - Ginseng Cleansing Oil 210ml

The texture of the cleanser is on the thicker side, so you need a full pump to avoid dragging on the skin. It emulsifies well with water and washes off my sunscreen and mascara quite easily. It does not leave a film on the skin but rather washes off completely without stripping the skin or making it feel dry or tight. It's very delicate and doesn't make my eyes blurry. It has a subtle earthy smell, which I found weird at first but that I really enjoy now. The only downside is that I feel like I go through it quickly. Still, it's one of the best oil cleansers I've tried so I would definitely repurches.

Amazing

I've been using the Klairs Gentle Black Fresh Cleansing Oil and I love it too but I can't justify the price when this one does a beautiful job at taking my spf and makeup off without any irritation. It costs less but you get 200ml of product in the (as opposed to Klairs' 150ml) and even though the formulations are completely different, they work the same. This cleansing oil emulsifies beautifully into a milky consistency as soon as you apply some water onto your skin and it doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or stripped after you rinse it off. I'll definitely be repurchasing this in the future!

Appearance of rashes

Hi,I started to use Beauty of Joseon’s cleansing oil after a month of using COSRX daily morning cleanser. I noticed some rashes on my face after using the ginseng cleansing oil as part of Double cleansing in my night routine. The rashes don’t appear until I have used Dear Klairs supple toner. But I do notice the dirt/gunk cleansed off with a hint of glow after using the ginseng cleansing oil.Maybe I’m just having a bad reaction, not sure. I like the product but now that it’s not working for my skin, not sure what to do with it.

I genuinely love this product. It's so soothing and cleansing. I feel so clean when I use it and it's not so harsh that it makes your skin feel dry. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh. The best part of this product is that it gets rid of ALL mascara. I used to find with oils and other make up removers that I would still have panda eyes afterwards as well as my eyes feeling blurry due to the oil seeping in. However, this product does not hurt my eyes at all. Great product

Great Product

I typically use the DHC cleanser, but its becoming increasingly hard to find, I saw this Ginseng cleansing oil and did my research then purchased it. I have dry, mature, sensitive, eczema prone skin and this works great to breakdown my make up, remove all the impurities and cleanse my skin without any negative effects. I love that this is Alcohol, essential oil and fragrance free ( there is a slight smell but its just the oil, after 2 uses I got used to it, if that's the only thing then for me this is minor.) my daughter who has extremely sensitive skin and has to be careful about the ingredients in her products (due to break out), loves this product. Give it a try!!

Honest

whilst i only just got the product, the packaging, and product quality were amazing.Personally i have combination skin my face is quite oily but flakes a lot with dry patches. I wear makeup for work (hospitality) and wanted a product that would remove makeup thouroughly, whilst i've only used it once i can say that it made my night routine a breeze instead of cleansing for a long time trying to remove my makeup it came off in a few scrubs.Whilst i can't generalise and say it works for everyone so far it has worked for me.Only downside is it took a while to ship, however i live in Australia so this was expected.

Pretty good!

Pros:*Great value for money*Fragrance free and gentle - doesn't irritate my dry,sensitive,acne prone skin.*Oil worked excellently as a first cleanse in a double cleanse and doesn't irritate the eye area either.*Oil doesn't leave a greasy residue, feels hydrating.*A little goes a long way - 2 pumps of oil cleanser and 2 drops of essence is enough for my entire face and neckCons:*I hated the smell, but the scent doesn't linger.*Essence does feel a little sticky in my opinion, but I found it didn't cause pilling when other serums were layered on top.

Smooth cleansing oil

I really like the texture of this oil, it is thin and light and still once on your skin it provides a sort of cushioning feel that encourages me to give my face a good massage while cleansing. It feels nice and pampering. The characteristic scent (sort of nutty) can only be detected for a second, either my nose gets used to it very quickly or it fades away on its own. Either way, I don't find it unpleasant. The serum is nice, hydrating but I don't feel it does anything more than that, their other option with propolis is a better one as it helps whenever some little spots start to appear on my chin.

Thick, hydrating & luxurious

If you're looking for a thick, hydrating, luxurious-feeling cleansing oil, this is it. I can't comment in how well it removes makeup, but it's quite pleasant to use. It has a very faint earthy scent, barely detectable. I love the hard plastic jar, very elegant. Left my skin soft & fresh, never tight. A bit hard to rinse off, but that's probably because it's so Hydrating. Ideal for dry or mature skin, and winters.

It does smell like soybeans, as this is one of the main ingredients of this product, but I find the scent pleasant. I like to massage this over my face and neck and it quickly dissolves any makeup or sunscreen. Even waterproof mascara comes off easily.
