This heated throw was outstanding. I wanted a smooth fabric so that dust, hair, etc. would not stick. Faux throw perfect. Nothing sticks to the shiny or the other side. Heats up fast. Easy to use control. Light weight and big. Just so you know, the hand control is connected to the plug in cord so this makes the cord a little shorter if there is no outled right next to your bed. Also because it's slippery it does slide around on the bed and have to be careful of the wires, pulling it into place everyday. This throw is meant to be used for someone in a sitting position. I thought I'd try to use it on my bed. It's perfect for a full bed single person but does slide. 2 hour automatic turnoff is great too.

Great quality item. Perfectly made . Love it. Purchased for my wife but I'm ordering me one. No ideal why we haven't ever had a heated throw before. But I think we got the best on our first try. Came in quickly and we have used on most nights with the little Dauchunds warming up with it as well under our feet. I would like to get a super small one for the Dauchunds if available No ideal how we lived without it all these years. Now I know what to get folks next Christmas for a gift. Everyone wants one that sees it. So I'm ordering her friend one for a belated Christmas gift as well.

After reading reviews for heated blankets for weeks, I decided on this for myself and one for my DIL. The key was "oversized" and the softness. The material is thin but soft, however what bothers me most of all is being able to feel all of the little heating element wires easily. I had one other blanket in the past and it was thick. Everything about this is perfect… except it quit working after the 4th wash. Followed the washing instructions to a T … and on this last wash something happened with the wiring and now the controller blinks green lights and I can’t do anything but throw it out. I have the leopard & it’s gorgeous. Warm. When it worked it was great & stayed on all night. I’m angry I spent more money on this than I normally would & it’s ruined & no longer works. I can’t even return it now & I haven’t had it a year yet.
Wrong item sent.I purchased two of these rechargeable heated poncho-like throws for a remote stargazing trip in the middle of nowhere. These would have been perfect to move around in while being outside.Unfortunately, they sent me two electric blankets with a wall outlet power cord!!!! I was pretty disappointed because the turnaround time to do an exchange is weeks out, so I would not receive the exchange in time for my trip. I thought about reordering the time directly, but there's no gauentee that I would actually be sent what I reordered.

I've been very gentle with the throw and have made sure not to kink the wiring. I see that other reviewers have had the same issue. The worst part is that I'm only 8 days past the end of the 90 day return window... how convenient for it to suddenly break now. This throw was way too expensive to only last three months! I'm really disappointed and frankly angry to have wasted my money on this. Usually regular size throws my arms are left exposed and I'm still chilly. This throw is super soft and looks great. I like to keep it out on my couch to use while watching TV. It's such great quality and bisually looks really nice it becomes part of your decor. One of the best features for me, is the safety control so if you forget to turn it off it will turn off after 2 hours. There are levels of heat for those who don't like it too hot there's an option for you. For those that get cold really easily, there's an option for you. When I tried this blanket for the first time, I was amazed by the comfort and warmth it provided. I will be using it a lot! It’s a treat to wrap yourself with it for movie nights or to read a good book. I’ve used it on my home office chair for a heated seat as well. The faux fur fabric is soft and looks great in my decor. You can feel the wires in the blanket but they are very flexible. There is a remote to control the heat level (low, medium and high). I use it on high most of the time but there has been times that it gets too hot so I lower it. Overall, it’s beautiful, washable and feels like high quality. The electrical wire to plug it into the wall is very long which makes it easier to use around the house. I love it!
