I do not really use this as a split end mender. I use it as a leave in conditioner. A few reviews said it leaves their hair feeling stiff (it does, and the more you use, the more stiff- but if you brush it out or even finger comb it or scrunch it, the stiffness will go away). I've never had a problem with it being sticky though, as a few mentioned. I have very thin hair and it can be curly with gel or straight when straightened. I had Never in my 20something years found a gel that wouldn't weigh my hair down so that I could wear my hair curly.- and taking an hour to straighten my hair just isn't ideal daily. this product is awesome. Then I either sleep on it and good to go next day after adding a bit of water (sometimes some watered down product) or I am food to go right then. 3) put my hair in a ponytail and just put this in the part held by the ponytail. I have a nice curly ponytail once dried. It's great as a conditioning product but I need it for a gel! It does give a bit of "crunch" depending on how much you use. But it also sets the curls, then if it's too crunchy I can scrunch it a little and the crunch can be anywhere from a little to medium hold. If you don't want it as a gel, don't put it on thick. A little goes a long way- usually two pumps will do my whole head with shoulder length thin hair- then if it's stiff, scrunch touch, brush, etc til the crunchiness is gone! So no it wondering me d your ends, get a trim, but it will add much needed moisture or help you comb you're hair when you otherwise wouldn't be able too. And has a secret gel ability lol.

Of course it didn't help because my hair was very very far gone and it needed to be cut nothing was going to help repair that much damage. I would have loved to continue using this product. However my budget does not have this product in mind. It is quite expensive and it's actually not available as most of the other Bed Head products. So it's not only specific to certain locations but the price still is too much for me to pay with what I have working with. However now that I am reviewing this I might just set some money aside. Since my hair has grown so much and it's actually healthier I've noticed some split ends. Probably one of my favorite light weight leave-in conditioner. You can apply this serum with either wet or dry hair and it doesn't leave any sticky residue. My hair still feels manageable to work with and even softer to touch. The smell is really nice as well. For the long run, I have had many hair cuts, and the hairdresser would always comment on how healthy my hair looks. I want to say part of that reason is probably because of this product. I use basically every time after a shower and when my hair is looking a bit dry. Definitely worth your money. The product itself lasts me for a long time with continual use.

This is another hair product I found at TJ Maxx. It usually goes for $18.99, but I got it for $9.99 and I use it in my hair routine religiously. After I wash my hair I apply some sparingly into my wet hair. It smooths, seals, and protects hair while helping mend split ends. It smells absolutely amazing, and as a leave in conditioner it makes my hair a lot easier to brush out once I get done washing it. #goodhairday #hairessentials

Hair Hero!

After a hair traumatising appointment which left a large section of my normally decent hair so dry and straw like. I have got a few high quality hair care products and they just weren't helping. Bought this Tigi trio and it's amazing! Just applying the shampoo I could tell I'd made the right choice. Once the conditioner and the serum did their job my hair was transformed from the start. Smells delicious too! As a former hair stylist and used various brands over the years on clients and myself I have to say this is the best. Large bottles but you only need a small amount of product so will last a fair while.

For reference, my hair is medium length, thick, slightly coarse with a little wave. I didn't expect it to actually mend split ends (because that is impossible) but I don't think it is helping me prevent split ends either. The product is of watery/serum consistency and little sticky in the hair. I tried using varying amounts of product (1/2 a pump to multiple pumps) on the bottom half of my hair and I get the same result. It doesn't help detangle my hair or make it more manageable, which is not a claim made but I guess something a expected with a leave-in conditioner. The smell is not bad (like with most Bed Head products) and will not linger in the hair. TL:DR It doesn't do much, try something else

Only product that works

I gave this product 5 stars even though it's not perfect. The reason I gave it 5 stars is because it works better than any other product I tried for this purpose. My hair is getting more fine and thin as time goes on and I was looking for something to make it less fly away and fix the split ends. Even though this product does not make my hair perfect, it is good enough now to where I'm not embarrassed to go outside.

Split Ends Gone!

My hair is fine and often flyaway with split ends. Ego Boost makes my wavy hair stay in place without frizz. I sometimes use it as a setting lotion before using my sponge rollers and blowing it dry on a cool setting. After 15 minutes I unravel it and the shine and smoothness is awesome. The style stays in all day! I love this product!

Why haven’t I used this product before?! It is absolutely fantastic and smooths all your split ends leaving your hair silky smooth and deeply conditioned with zero residue! I have very thick, coarse bleach damaged hair and have tried every product under the sun that would actually work. This is that product! You can use it on wet or dry hair which is great. I use urban antidotes shampoo and conditioner and follow with ego boost on damp hair then blow dry. This will leave your hair feeling fresh and super soft and bouncy! Split ends seem non existent now and I am so pleased! I will continue using this product and won’t look back! Highly recommend.

This stuff seriously is saving my hair

I have been searching for the longest time for some hair care products for my dry, damaged, and frizzy hair. I've never tried bed head products but I'm so glad I gave it a try cause this stuff works wonders. I absolutely love it and how it makes my hair feel and look, and it smells lovely. Highly recommend this and the bed head damage level 3 shampoo and conditioner in a red bottle.
