I travel a lot for work, and the beef bars act as an insurance to make sure I hit my daily intake with peace of mind. Unlike many of the supermarket alternatives, these don’t cause any gut distress either which has been huge for me.While living in Aus and overseas, I haven’t come across any other bars on the market that compare nutritionally (while tasting great). The collagen bars and jerky are fantastic too - I found ordering the mixed box initially was a great way of working out what works best for you.Thanks your such quality products and service Chief team!

I liked the beef bars but...perhaps because they are so vinegary, they gave me a huge attack of gout. I don't have that problem with standard biltong. Also perhaps combining the beef bar with a collagen bar was not a good idea from the gout perspective. However, I do think it's a great product for those who do not have high uric acid issues like myself .

I liked the beef bars but...perhaps because they are so vinegary, they gave me a huge attack of gout. I don't have that problem with standard biltong. I bought the Traditional Beef Bars and was impressed with the quality of the dried beef, packaging, and flavour. I really enjoyed these once I got my head around what I purchased wasn't jerky but an alternative, but tasty meat snack.I say I had to get my head around it because the first impression was "what have I bought?!". It's not salty, it has a unique flavour. It's not hard, or overly chewy, it has a soft texture which makes it really easy to eat.And while it wasn't what I was looking for it certainly impressed me, I highly recommend them... unless you want biltong, in which case buy their biltong :)

I have no idea how difficult or involved the process is so from an educated perspective and all respect for a great product. To me I would have thought the finished product would have dried more. They maintained an excellent consistency in product quality. Though I quite enjoyed them for what they are, I did feel that they were a little bland. Personally, I was thinking that they kinda need just a bit of herb of spice type lift just enough to compliment the lovely flavor of the beef. A great steak just ooozzzeezz with the flavor of the pan-fried change on the plate just a sprinkle of salt n cracked pepper magic. I love Chief traditional beef. You don't even pay me to say this; on the contrary - I happily pay for quality snack food; the only sadness I have is for the four-legged creatures. They gave their all so we could enjoy the flavour, a couple of spices and decent organic stuff, and that is what a Chief Beef bar is to me. Good stuff, I am pleased I discovered them!
Cooking healthy meals can sometimes fall to the bottom of my priority list. Having 2x Chief beef bars in place of a meal gives me the proteins, nutrients, and energy that I need - while saving me time! I love that these 'protein bars' are made from real food, and the added bonus is that they taste delicious. Highly recommend!!

These are the single best protein snack on the market.My gut can't handle protein powders, plant fibres or sweetener / sugar alchohols without serious problems and I've been looking for an easy, natural protein snack for YEARS!I've tried other jerkys and they're texture and flavour aren't very good. They just get stuck in my teeth and taste like salty cardboard OR are packed with super high sodium, artificial sofeners junk that i could never risk eating everyday.These are just unbelievable! I was quite prepared for these to be edible and i didn’t expect much more, however i was very pleasantly surprised. I have gotten tired of eating jerky and really wanted a change from that with an ‘on the go’ snack. the Chief bars are really enjoyable to eat and definitely help me to avoid nutritionally empty snacks when I’m busy. Nice work.
