Very happy with the BBQ,easy to assemble.The ignition system works well. I cooked a couple of steaks and a Turkey roll which cooked very well.The large drip tray is easy to clean and the large doors beneath are handy for storage.I would purchase another product from appliances on again.

When I finally got the BBQ stand assembled and is working the BBQ is great BUT….. Assembly was a nightmare as the supplied bolts did not easily attach metal to metal parts. If the bolts were replaced with self tapping screws the job would have been much easier.

My family’s new BEEFEATER 142CM OUTDOOR BBQ is a great performer, easy to assemble, gives consistent cooking outcomes. Some really nice features are the large easy action knobs, the transparent viewing window and the storage compartment that’s part of the overall design. In short a great little barbie.

The Good Guys were great with communication and the barbecue itself, is great, we did have some trouble with some screws not quite fitting correctly and we triple checked that we hadn't put the wrong screws in. But the barbecue is working great, heats really quickly and cooks really well and having the 5 burners makes a huge difference in added space.
Bought as a replacement for a 20 year old beefeater signature , these bbqs last a billion years and dont rust which is perfect for coastal homes. This bbq is cheaper than the Signature but I have not noticed a difference with our basic cooking. Very happy with it, the enamel coating is why I choose these bbqs.
Great bbq, putting it together was not that hard except for the cheap screws they use, soft steel and will round off easy if your not careful. I did notice something else, I think one of the screws attaching the handle to the hood is broken, needs further investigation. Plenty of room in the trolley for gas bottle and utensils. Glad I chose the 5 burner not the 4.
We have only used this a couple of times so far, but currently happy. There are some things to be aware.1) Assembly: The book says 35 minutes. This is complete rubbish. A very experienced handyman took 2 hours.2) Gas lighting: Only one of the burners has self-lighting which I think is pretty cheap. The way it works is you light that burner then turn on the gas at the adjacent burner and it catches from the first burner and so on. It works but it would be better if all burners had self-lighting.3) Burners. For some unexplained reason there is a little sticker on the unit saying only use two burners on "High" with the lid closed.
I haven't used it as yet, but got a great deal from Harvey Norman who were cheaper than any of the other places. I bought 2 for 2 investment properties so hopefully my tenants enjoy them
Good, solid barbecue. We converted it to natural gas upon purchase. The heat distribution over the hot plate and grill is not 100% ideal, but overall it’s great value for money.
The 1200 SERIES 170CM 5-BURNER FREESTANDING BBQ has changed our lockdown world. Cooking outside during lockdown us like a mini holiday. Using this 5 burner makes it an excellent holiday. Most highly recommend this product
