I have always seen belkin products as one step above the rest. This however is a disaster. It is all big impossible to get the phone in and out of the charger without taking it off the vent. Then it doesn’t stay on the vent while driving. I almost broke my phone because of a small bump. This product is not as advertised and is not up to your standards.

I've had this for approximately 2 months, and have tried charging with/without the Apple Store purchased silicone sleeve for my 2nd Generation SE iPhone, but at best it merely maintains whatever charge it already has, and only minimally charges - not sure why? My "regular" Belkin auto charger works fine with/without the sleeve - only needed another charger as I recently changed cars, so the charging port was now located in the middle of my car, versus the old car port was on my dash...so it wouldn't stretch enough - I have also emailed tech support for help with this matter - thank you so much.
I have a 2017 f-150, this vent mount is worthless. It doesn’t stay attached to the vent at all. I have an official Apple iPhone 11 pro clear case on my device. I am constantly having to push the vent mount back into my truck vent constantly even when I am driving on smooth roads. If you want your expensive device to crash on the floor and you want to be distracted while driving then this mount is for you. I can’t believe this thing is going for 60 bucks.

It charges the phone which is its job I suppose but it just falls out of the vent even when you aren’t driving. So if you don’t mind it sitting in the console I suppose it’s alright but then just buy a normal wire charger and lose the bulk of the useless vent mount hanging off the back.
Belin used to be my got to for my Apple products, but this charger will only charge my iphone sporadically at best. Sometimes I can't get it to work not matter what and I have tried multiple outlets in multiple cars.
Works decently; you have to have the phone in there just right to charge.The mount fixture does not work the best with my car vent.Don't expect to be able to pull your phone out one handed as the entire thing detaches.Does its job but also annoying.
wireless charging can get hot therefore it's much better to have mounted on a vent , as it can be kept cooler in summer with car fan on or air conditioner blowing on the back of charger and phone. wireless charging can slow down or stop if the temperature rises to high with built in protection. tested charging through fairly thick case and still charges phone, up to 3mm according to maker. as it's winter now can't fully test wireless charger holder until summer, heard of some other brands that mount to windscreen and the suction cup melts on the window and bakes on, causing great stress to remove plastic cup. also the phone can fall off damaging the phone.
