This device is good enough to enjoy music in everyday scenarios.I still need to get used to controlling the device through tapping the Left and Right Buds, the booklet that comes in the box is handy to learn the different taps you need to perform for that.- Pros: Fast charge time, crisp and clear sound, microphones on each earbud, wireless charging case.- Cons: touch controls not too responsive.>> First useI followed the instructions that come in the booklet. I paired it to my Surface Duo 2 without any issues. The earbuds are white, and they go well with my glacier (white) Surface Pro 2. They fit very comfortably on my ears and look just the right size (not too big).I noticed that tapping on the earbuds to make the volume up and down needed some training. I failed multiple times to change the volume (perhaps because I am accustomed to use my phone to control the volume).>> SoundThe sound is crisp and clear. Bass level/range is decent for its price range, I wish it could be a little better as some songs lose a little of their appeal when the low notes are not too prominent/distinguishable. I am not an audio expert, but overall, I’d say that sound quality is great and the device is worth giving it a chance.>> FeaturesBesides the standard Bluetooth audio capability, this device can also be used to make/answer calls on your Bluetooth-connected phone (well, as far as I am aware, any Bluetooth earbuds allows doing that, but I just wanted to point this out). You can also control the device directly tapping/pressing on it, you’d need to refer to the booklet to learn how to control device (using 1 or 2 taps on either left or right earbud): volume up/down, play/pause, move next/previous, answer/gold/hang-up a call. One last interesting aspect is that the charging case can charge wireless itself. This is nice as I have few wireless chargers lying around.

Just received the Belkin - SOUNDFORM Rise True Wireless Earbuds a few days ago. I never thought of Belkin as an audio company, generally used to getting cables, adapters, computer and smartphone accessories, chargers, hubs, so I was very curious to see and hear what their earbuds are like. I would say these are in the mid-range category quality, performance and price-wise. I was pleasantly surprised they sound pretty good for multi-purpose use. Clear highs, mids and a decent amount of bass and plenty of overall volume, as long as you have them inserted tightly in your ears. They come with 3 sizes of silicone ear tips. I try not to use any earbuds for more than 1-2 hours at a time, these were fairly comfortable, a bit on the heavy side but did not fall out of my ears ... MoreJust received the Belkin - SOUNDFORM Rise True Wireless Earbuds a few days ago. I found them best for streaming videos and movies and overall background music and radio station listening while working. I like that the charging case comes with a USB-C cable and also supports wireless charging, a nice feature to have in this price range. Two mics on each earbud works well for phone calls, though noise cancelling would be an added bonus. An App with a sound equalizer and remapping the touch controls is much needed. The touch controls are a bit unconventional, especially the single touch for volume-up on the right earbud and volume-down on the left earbud. I’m so used to pause/play/next track being the most popular single/double touch controls - not on these. Good thing they work independently of each other, so if you take one earbud out of your ear, the other one is still fully functional. Overall, this is a pretty good start for Belkin’s foray into the sound business.

I've never had a pair of ear buds that connected to my android phone so easily, right out of the box. I opened the charging case, looked at the Bluetooth connections on my phone and tapped the Soundform Rise entry: connected. Extremely painless. No Bluetooth hide and seek (I really hate that), they just show up as soon as the case is opened. These are nice affordable ear buds that really surprised me with their sound. Are they the best I've ever heard? Not really, but they do sound good. Better than I expected. I've given much worse reviews to many higher end buds in the past (the ones you expect to sound great because they cost so much). I think the shape has a lot to do with it actually. Are they the best I've ever heard? Not really, but they do sound good. Better than I expected. I've given much worse reviews to many higher end buds in the past (the ones you expect to sound great because they cost so much). I think the shape has a lot to do with it actually. The better they fit and the deeper in your ear they can go has a lot to do with how much and how tight the low end is reproduced. Many other high end buds I own never seem to grasp that basic idea. Overall, I found the mid and high frequencies were a little on the harsh side, but can be compensated for with any music app EQ. The low end was reproduced well and they had nice sound pressure levels without being over done or boomy. They sound pretty good with a flat EQ, and sound even better with a little tweaking. The Soundform buds fit perfectly right out of the box for me. I usually need to monkey around with different tip sizes and positions to get the best fit but these were just super easy to put in right the first time. And I found I never needed to mess with them after they were in. They're secure and don't ever feel like they're going to fall out.Nice charging case. It has a USB-C port to charge it (charging cable is included) or you can charge it wirelessly. The ear buds go into the case smoothly and without trouble. I never had to hunt around for the right way to put them in. As far as controlling them, you can pause and play, raise or lower the volume, play the next or last track and answer the phone. This is all done with a combination of taps on either the right or left ear. I found this a bit tedious as you have to guess where exactly to tap on each ear and the single, double or triple taps require some thought as to which command you want to use and on which ear. A lot of ear buds are like this these days and after working with them for a while, it became easier to find the tap sweet spot and use the right command. The Soundform Rise ear buds are a solid choice for anyone who is looking for a set of good sounding, true wireless ear buds at a very affordable price. The use of a USB-C port on the charging case is a nice choice and the wireless charge feature is a bonus as well. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better sounding, more comfortable pair at this price. They are easy to pair and easy to wear. The tap sequences are a little tedious but after working with them, not a deal breaker.
I have had a fair share of truly wireless earbuds and most usually last about 3-5 hours on a single charge. These on the other hand have lasted over 7 hours at max volume. Plus, you can use one at a time, so essentially you can rotate them in and out for continuous all day use. The case may be a little bigger than some others, but that gives you over 3 full charges without plugging it back in. Another neat feature is that these connect the moment you open the cover, which means quick use without waiting for audio to cut over from your device. They have two microphones on each earbud, making it so that you can use either for voice communications and clear audio at that. The only downside to using one at a time is that each one has its own touch function, such as right for volume up, left for volume down. However, you can always still control those functions from your device as well. Besides, it is also just a slight touch and not push like some other headphones require. As for sound quality, these are pretty decent. They manage to still have pretty decent lows while keeping crispy highs. In a straight audio check, they did sound a little different though. Like my right bud had a little more bass than the left, but that could just be perception or fit. Speaking of fit, they held pretty snug and kept a decent seal inside the ear.Overall, these Belkin Soundform Rise headphones are of good quality and value. I feel the ability to use one at a time and the long battery life is something that is essential for truly wireless earbuds.
I've been looking for wireless earbuds that will fit in my helmet as my normal wired one can get pulled while shifting around on the bike. This one definitely fits, but moving left and right can accidentally initiate a "touch" - so if I look left and then right, the volume up will take place. not incredibly terrible, but also a bit distracting so it's not a good idea. If it didn't have touch controls, it would meet my requirements.Volume level is great, that's been my other requirement - other headsets don't get very loud and these do, and I like that I have plenty of room to make it louder that I do not need to raise for normal listening. The Touch controls are nice, and it gives you enough time to tap 1-3 times before it proceeds with the action. This is very helpful as the area of the touch is not large, so depending on what you're doing, you may need that extra 1 second to make sure I hit it correctly the 2nd time (2 taps to pause). It beeps to confirm the tap action after it knows you've stopped. It's very easy to pair any device - I have paired it with a few devices, including an AppleTV 4K - but as with any headset, there is quite a lag between audio when watching something in 4K. It seems to be fine on non-4K movies. The earbuds with the already on ear tip fits comfortable, it does include other sizes but as is worked well for me. The first night I had it, I was standing for a few hours playing pinball and there were a few times when I somehow blinked too hard that it somehow slowly squeezed them further out of my ear(!). It has only happened one more time since, but it was weird and not sure how that happened. The only other weird issue is sometimes when I remove the earbuds from the case, only one of them will connect while other doesn't. Placing them back into the case , closing it, and then removing them again gets them to sync correctly. With the under $100 price point (and it not being an Apple product) - those little quirks always seem to exist. With that said, is being able to always connect correctly worth 2x the price of these? No, the extra 2 seconds doesn't bother me. It's a good affordable gift!
Great audio quality, especially for outdoor activities. I tend to have plenty of noise surrounding me on my day to day. Whether it's mowing my lawn, at work or listening while out jogging, having a good set of earbuds that truly are wireless & have the ability to block out any unnecessary or unwanted noise has been fantastic! Water resistance keeps my sweat from ruining them & allow me to go for a walk/run without fear of the rain that pours without warning down here in FL. Simple to control, clean & store. I can take em' with me everywhere. Truly impressive battery life lasts for hours until needing a charge, they continued to impress with superior audio quality & even better noise cancellation. I would recommend Rise True Wireless earbuds from Soundform to anyone from gamers, athletes & musicians to anyone who enjoys quality hands free listening & communication. The two microphones in each earbud makes hands free calling a much more enjoyable experience. My coworkers no longer ask me if I'm in a wind tunnel.
First let me say that I did receive these Soundform earbuds free of charge with the understanding that I would test it and provide and publish a review. Now I would like to also add that I am under no obligation to provide any biased or censored review and I'm completely free to speak openly and honestly about this product and plan to do so.So here is my break down. I'm glad to report that I am very happy with this product. I've been in the market for a decent set of earbuds that weren't overpriced and these hit that mark rather well. First they seem well made, not cheap or flimsy so they would be able to take a few falls and some wear and tear, even the holding/charger box is pretty durable and should keep the buds safe. The style is nice, they're sleek and look high-tech and fit comfortably in my ears. They come with three sets of rubber earplugs in small medium and large that are easily changed and I replaced the medium with the small and found them to be more comfortable yet remain snug enough that they don't slip out of my ears even during light to moderate activities. Now for the most important part, the sound. I can tell you that they sound great and the mic is the same. I tested them for phone calls (both outgoing and receiving) and was able to hear and be heard as well as any device I've ever used and was confident enough to use them for work calls and experienced absolutely no issues.I then tested them on music and again they delivered clear and clean sound. I tested all sorts of music from jazz and classical to R&B and rock and was not disappointed at all. The controls are easy to master and with just some taps you can skip/repeat songs, pause/resume and control the volume. The skipping and repeating worked on YouTube, Pandora and Spotify and I would bet many others as well. They can go loud yet not overly dangerous and for little earbuds I feel they deliver on that bass so you music won't be coming out flat. They also seem to have a much longer battery life than I would have thought (biggest surprise) and they also charge incredibly fast so that's another plus. Now I would like to post about some cons but I really do not have anything negative to say about them other than if you're unfamiliar with earbuds you may find that the directions they provide may not do a great job of getting you up to speed but I don't think that's going to be a big issue.
For any Bluetooth audio device, the first things I test are lag and stability since both are very common issues. For the last 3 and half days that I’ve been using these earbuds, they only failed on me once and that was because I turned a microwave oven while listening to music. And I’m not using that against them because I have yet to see a Bluetooth device that doesn’t have audio issues when too close to an operating microwave oven simply because those ovens operate at the same frequency as Bluetooth but at a much higher power. Even with all the protection to keep the radio waves internally, they do leak enough to affect audio devices. What matters is the buds have been very stable and no noticeable lags.Audio quality won’t impress audiophiles but won’t ... MoreFor any Bluetooth audio device, the first things I test are lag and stability since both are very common issues. Even with all the protection to keep the radio waves internally, they do leak enough to affect audio devices. What matters is the buds have been very stable and no noticeable lags.Audio quality won’t impress audiophiles but won’t disappoint most other people, especially for this price category. The bass level is adequate for listening while working out or doing something physical. It is also great for virtual meetings with its multiple microphones and clear audio. The only time I was not totally happy about them was when I laid down on my couch to listen to some nice music. I won’t bore you with all the technical details of my frustration because I’m one of those audiophiles and prefer over- or on-ear headphones for those moments. Otherwise, they were great.IPX5 is okay for occasional sweats and humid environment. For heavy and frequent workouts or wet places, I would be concerned. If you are an athlete, you might want to look for something with an IPX7 or higher rating. Also, I’m used to auto pause when you take earbuds out of your ears, but these won’t pause automatically. The good news is that they are relatively comfortable, and the battery lasts long enough until when you need a break and put them back into the charging case, which will give you many more hours of active listening when you need them again.Based on price category, these are among the best I’ve tried, and my 4-star rating is taking that into consideration. Otherwise, I would have rated them 3 stars for lack of noise cancellation and good but not great audio quality. However, their excellent stability for the Bluetooth connection makes them a great value.
The Belkin Soundform True Wireless Earbuds are a compact well-made pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds. As with most earbuds they come with other size interchangeable buds, the default installed medium buds seemed to be most comfortable in my ear. These are sound isolating and given their reasonable price I would not expect active noise cancelling (ANC) features. The buds sit in a little carry case/charging station, which charges the ear buds and provides a battery source for another few recharge cycles when needed. The wireless earbuds have a rated run time of about 7 hours which I found to be pretty accurate the first couple of cycles I used them from full charge to a needs charging state. The QI wireless charging case (a really nice feature for this price point) provides about another 24 hours of run time. I found the USB-C connection on the case a bonus and is fundamentally a better connection than older USB interfaces. The sound reproduction is fairly accurate, although a bit on the soft side. I also used the buds on a few Zoom calls while working from home and was very pleased with how they performed. The built-in microphones seem to do a good job at picking up your voice while doing a decent job of minimizing background noise. Pairing these earbuds was easy and problem free as well as controlling your connected device through light touches on each of the earbuds, they also work well in mono mode (using a single earbud).I did not have to worry about sweat of water impacting the buds since they are IPX5 rated. They have less lag than other ear buds I used, which is important when using to listen to audio from video sources, I suspect this has to do with the minimal amount of processing the earbuds perform (for instance no active noise cancelling). These are a good pair of true wireless earbuds, providing decent performance at this price point.Pros:- sound decent, a little bass heavy/soft on treble- easy connectivity- good for teleconferencing and phone calls- Nice charging/holding case with built in battery and USB-C jack for charging the battery case.- Looks like a more expensive pair of earbuds.Cons:- None, at this price point.
