I purchased a small sized helmet following the recommendations posted on the website to determine the right size. However, It turned out to be a little too tight for me.
Medium would have become big for sure. Ultimately, could not buy a comfortable size for my head. Therefore, having challenges in wearing, removing or keeping l it for
some time. Getting severe headache and ear compression pain.

Purchase this helmet on sale for 120$. The auto tinting shield alone is worth more than I paid for the helm. Great helmet , extremely comfortable, easiest d ring system I have
ever owned. Great helmet, just a little on the noisier side. Not enough to worry about. Speaker pockets are also great.

This helmet is recommended as safe and inexpensive and full of features and the vast majority of reviews both professional and private all say it's loud and so do I. Turn your head to the left to expose the bluetooth socket to the wind, and it's even louder.I'm buying a Sena 10s which will plug into the socket and unfortunately i had to purchase from a different vendor because there isn't a Bell version like there is with the SMH10, which has inferior speakers but that's a review for the 10s itself. The helmet is exactly as advertised and reviewed and I'll probably buy another for passengers.... Great helmet

Great entry level helmet. Comfortable and good ventilation. It does have a good bit of wind noise but I ride with earplugs and only really notice the wind over 110kph. Fit a Cardo Freecom, easy install and good sound. The visor is AWESOME. No sunglasses needed and great visibilty. Highly recommended helmet.... Show more

Great helmet, poor delivery...... literally
10 August 2018
Bought the helmet from Cyclegear store but had it shipped to home, and was concerned on the delivery of the "brain" bucket. Was assured by staff that they are well packed and nothing to worry about. Was at home and delivery was soon to be at my front door. Knew right away that it was delivered as there was a thud on my steel door as the driver just tossed it and ran back into his FedEx delivery truck. Nothing on the box to handle with care, nothing noting "this way up". I told myself all was ok since I was assured the thing I am putting my head into is well packed and cared for. Nope. Just a teeny tiny bit. Three air pillow packs on the very top of the bell box inside the plain brown box it was packed into and a very thin film of polystyrene surrounding the helmet ... MoreBought the helmet from Cyclegear store but had it shipped to home, and was concerned on the delivery of the "brain" bucket. Three air pillow packs on the very top of the bell box inside the plain brown box it was packed into and a very thin film of polystyrene surrounding the helmet that was inside the red helmet bag. No way to exchange since it is an odd size and needs to be ordered. I have used it, and I like the transition lens and I do like the features of the pocket for bluetooth adaptability. Would I buy it again? yes. Would I get it delivered? Nope, and I'll hesitate to have anything shipped from Cyclegear again. I hope to never find out if this thing is compromised, but if it is, well, I guess my family will be slightly taken care of by the insurance Co. My only advice is to have a normal sized melon, take delivery of it at the store as they only carry normal melon sized head shapes, and pray that some knucklehead wasn't trying to bowl with it before putting it back onto the shelf... Have no fear, follow the directions!
13 January 2024
I have not bought a new helmet in years. I purchased a newer bike and needed a new helmet. I was hesitant to order online in fear it would not fit and I would have to send it back, I did not want the hassle. But I did some research and found Dennis Kirk website which had a fit chart and a great return policy. So I thought I would give it a try. I followed directions and ordered my helmet in a few days it arrived, tried it on and it fit perfectly! The helmet is not only a good fit but is well made and great looking too. Thank you Dennis Kirk for the confidence in placing my order.... Show more

Loud and uncomfortable, massively overpriced
23 April 2023
This is by far the worst helmet I have ever had the displeasure to wear, and I regret not doing my research when I was trying helmets on in-store as other reviews have mentioned these issues. The noise is as unbearable as a personalized hurricane around your head, and the aerodynamic profile literally generates lift, and tries to pull the helmet off your head at highway speeds which is very uncomfortable. This is what I would expect from a $30 Walmart helmet and not a $300 Bell. The only good feature of this helmet is the transitional visor. If I could give this helmet zero stars I would, it is far worse of a helmet than a $100 HJC CL-16 I purchased on clearance 7 years ago, which I was attempting to upgrade from.... Show more

Qualifier DLX

Great helmet for the price. The self tinting visor is very helpful, wish it could maybe be 5% darker, but hey, I don't need to carry separate visors or sunglasses around. Helmet isn't too heavy. Airflow is decent. Wind noise is there, could maybe be a little quieter if there was some additional padding at the ears, but that area was intentionally left open for speakers to be added. Do read the notice though, there is no more cutout/port for the comms, so you have to get the c-clamp style. The matte black, as with anything else that is matte black, will attract fingerprints. The only thing I did not like is the sizing. My head is a tiny bit larger than 23" so I went with the large, found out it was a bit too big, so had to go medium. Very comfortable, excellent quality
23 November 2022
Remarkably comfortable, despite a bit of wind noise. At first, I thought the face shield had not darkened...until I looked in my mirror and saw it was remarkably dark. The shield was was so clear it was hard to tell it had darkened. Excellent field of view and a great quality helmet. Looks great, too! To get the self-tinting face shield and the MIPS in a quality brand like Bell at this price is a great bargain!... Show more

Very strong made and fit really well with glasses on
19 May 2024
It is an excellent helmet and very well made. It fits me perfectly with my glasses on. 99.9% satisfaction with this helmet. The only problem is a lot of road noise coming in while driving a motorcycle wearing this helmet. I wish this helmet would be soundproof. I would recommend everyone to purchase this helmet....
