Flimsy, wall needs to be relatively flat so not suitable for older house.Bunnings staff need to be trained on building codes or be more knowledgable on the product as my client was told it could be used behind gas cooktop, catalogue clearly states not suitable for gas and doesn’t meet code if done so.Product is grossly overpriced, has to be ordered but only in set lengths. If it has to be ordered then custom size should be made available.

The colour glass does not match the polymer splashback in the same colour? The glass is darker yet they are supposed to be the same colour? Too late now to change as its on the wall!!

Easy to install

We bought this 6 weeks ago for a bathroom renovation. It was easy to install and came up a treat. All you need is some double sided tape, silicone, drill/hole saw and a jig saw. We used it for the shower walls and splash back, installed it 1 day and fitted the new shower screen the next, Next day it was ready to go.

Looks good but beware
13 July 2022

We purchased this product when renovating our kitchen and it does look great ,but be very careful as although the front has a protective cover the back is a very thin coat of silver paint and has no protection. as a result it scratches easy and shows through.

Quality of product

If you need to put screws through it onto a backing surface make sure the pilot holes that are drilled are oversized for the screws as the polymer is very brittle. Way to expensive for what you’re getting

Really really inspect it before installing
20 June 2022

I managed to rip this down on my table saw and crosscut with my circular saw. Applied neutral cure silicone, caulked the gaps, filled the whiteset and pulled off the plastic ... and there were inconsistencies in the pattern. 3-4 big patches of "grain" in the acrylic, probably from where it had been poured, and wrinkles too.I should have taken more care to thoroughly inspect this before installing. Next time, I'm just going to tile which is far cheaper, harder wearing and easier to install.

Splashback that’s great

It was perfect for our Redo laundry splashback. Easy to cut and so much better than the old tiles.

Terrible product

Do not purchase this flimsy rubbish. 2 sheets split and cracked and it was cut professionally. I will be requesting a refund.

Very poor quality product and poor customer services.

Really disappointed with this product and the customer services we received. We purchases two lengths for our kitchen splash back returned one immediately because the edges were discoloured almost as is they were burnt and when cut the acrylic had a strange reaction, were it almost bubbled and would not cut evenly in place.I was really disappointed when I took back the second sheet with the same issue and was told you could not exchange or refund because we'd already cut it. We left Bunnings on Sunday empty handed, unable to finish the kitchen splash back and told we would get a call from a manager, which never happened. This was after I had been told that this was like returning a soiled dress by the Bunnings manager. Now we are most likely going to have to take ... MoreReally disappointed with this product and the customer services we received. What a waste of $700.

not great, looks good if installed with precision and care

When Installed with "parfix maxi nails" no reaction occurs with the painted backing; parfix is a cheaper brand of adhesive with a much lower viscosity than the more expensive versions of liquid nails, however it can run down to the bottom edge when installing leaving a residue forever between the clear part of the acrylic and bench top, with a 3 metre length and runny adhesive it can turn into a nightmare fast - so I decided to use a better brand of adhesive "selleys liquid nails", it's stronger and thicker and did not run at all, but after a few minutes a new nightmare revealed itself! ..the high quality "selleys liquid nails" reacted with the silver painted backing and started to dissolve and bubble from the back of the acrylic panel. My advice would be to have a ... MoreWhen Installed with "parfix maxi nails" no reaction occurs with the painted backing; parfix is a cheaper brand of adhesive with a much lower viscosity than the more expensive versions of liquid nails, however it can run down to the bottom edge when installing leaving a residue forever between the clear part of the acrylic and bench top, with a 3 metre length and runny adhesive it can turn into a nightmare fast - so I decided to use a better brand of adhesive "selleys liquid nails", it's stronger and thicker and did not run at all, but after a few minutes a new nightmare revealed itself! ..the high quality "selleys liquid nails" reacted with the silver painted backing and started to dissolve and bubble from the back of the acrylic panel. My advice would be to have a perfectly flat wall freshly plasterboarded and use a clear silicone, the painted backing does not have a protective layer besides the film that initially prevents scratches so any solvent based product should be kept at a safe distance.
