Our family has been using Benefiber for many years. We purchased it at the Bartlett, TN Warehouse until recently. It has been out of stock for several weeks. I check for it every time I visit the store.Unlike other fiber supplements, it dissolves easily and has no taste. We miss the product and hope that Sam’s Club will soon re-stock the stores with Benefiber.

I called the manufacturer yesterday (05/17/2012) asking why I couldn't find Benefiber on any shelf at any store. They said it HAD NOT BE RECALLED the stores simply had sold what stock was in their inventory. The reason it was not shipping right now is that it was packaged in the same plant where Gas-X Prevention was packaged and that Gas-X was recalled. The packaging of Benefiber is being moved to another of their facilities and will be available soon. If you want the company to call or email you to alert you, just call the 800 number on the container and speak to them directly to request notification.It is criminal that those who have hoarded this product are offering it for sale online for nearly 10 times it's retail price. I have been using Benefiber for years and it is a great product. In fact, it is the only product of it's kind that I use. Lately though I think that the company that makes it (Novartis) has begun to hold back it's shipments to usual places like Sam's, Walmart, Walgreen's, even Amazon. When you can find it, it ships from Novartis and they have nearly TRIPLED the price of all Benefiber products! Has anyone else had trouble finding Benefiber lately???
I have been using Benefiber for years & have gotten my Benefiber at Sam's until lately. Love the product but for some reason the Brooksville Sam's are no longer stocking it!! Am frustrated.
Best fiber product for your digestive system by far. 3 table spoons after dinner is the best method i found works for me.

I spoke with a pharmacist and they told me that the manufacturer of Benefiber also makes another product that requires the same chemical and that they got the wrong ingredients in the Benefiber batch so therefore they are backlogged on the Benefiber orders. Dont blame Sams Club or any other stores it is the manufacturer. Keep looking it should be back on shelves soon.
The best thing there is no taste. I can put it in hot or cold or over food. That is a big plus.
