Benefit Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Pencil Mini Brown

The Gimme Brow Volumizing Pencil is currently my favorite eyebrow pencil. In addition, it is one of the best eyebrow products of the brand in my opinion. Amazing for naturally filled/ fluffy look!!!

Perfection!!! Holds up extremely well all day against oil. I have an oily T zone and course thick brow hairs with some sparse areas. I find that micro precision pencils don’t ‘stick’ to my skin and they end up going on with like zero pigment and loss of shape/ fading by the end of the day. This pencil has an awesome pigmentation to application pressure ratio that is awesome for lightly filling in sparse areas without overdoing it on pigmentation. Especially if your brow hairs are already very dark like mine! Also I am completely useless at drawing on hairlike strokes, and it always took way too long for me to do my brows this way, so I love this pencil because it gives me the shape i want VERY easily without having to do multiple small strokes while still looking ... MorePerfection!!! Instead of just coloring in the brows like most pencils it did seem to fluff them as thou it were a powder and give the brows more dimension instead of just color.For the most part they did last most of the day. Thou on really hot days or when my face was getting more oily then most I found the product did transfer if rubbed on another surface.As far as waterproof I didn't go swimming with it on but I did play out in the sprinklers and my face got wet. Again for the most part they held there shape/definition but weren't perfect by the end of the waterfight.Easy to sharpen and the spoolie at the end helps blend the product nicely. Overall I did enjoy this pencil. As far as ingredients this is by no means a clean or green product as it has a slew of hard to pronoune ingredients that aren't awesome including phenylpropanol, bismuth oxychloride and titanium dioxide to name a few.

Great Brow Powder Pencil

Thankfully Benefit and Influenster sent me Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Pencil complimentary for testing purposes, right as I was on the hunt for a new brow product! I have tried so many products from so many brands, ranging from pencils, powders, wax markers, gels, etc. Many products end up not looking natural, even when using very lightly. I have found that Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Pencil looks great and doesn't irritate. I am a contact wearer with sensitive skin, so I am hesitant of brow products with fibers because they tend to flake, transfer, and upset my skin, but I have not had any issues with the Gimme Brow+ Pencil. I received a shade that matches my brows perfectly. The pencil glides so well. It is applied like any other pencil and feels a bit creamy or light because of the powder formulation. I don't notice the fibers when applying, the pencil seems completely solid, it is only when I see the fullness in my brows that I can tell that there are fibers in the formula. I have not noticed any transfer or smudging. It is long lasting and seems to be decently waterproof. I have worn it during the summer heat, when most of my makeup wants to melt off. There is a spoolie included on the opposite end of the pencil which is helpful. The product is very buildable and using the spoolie at the end really helps the volumized look. The downside to this pencil is it does not have a built-in sharpener and is not non-sharpening. You have to buy a sharpener separately to use this product continually. For the price, I wish the product did not need a separate sharpener. Aside from the lack of sharper, this is a great brow powder pencil for anyone looking for better matching shades and natural looking fullness.

I Love This Product

This is hands down the best brow pencil i have EVER used. Its so easy to use! Really gives me nice brows and it's so easy to use i can have my brows done in no time . I absolutely LOVE the product . I hope & pray they never stop making it bc i am just not good at brows but i always have a good brow day when i use Benefit Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Fiber pencil. BUT you might as well just get the trial size bc its impossible to sharpen. I have wasted so much money buying sharpeners trying to find one that will actually work for this . So far, i haven't found one . And i didn't buy cheap ones either. So i am just going to look for a trial size i can use & toss i guess. Bc i really do need the product. I love this eyebrow pencil with all my heart. I usually use two colours: most of the time-2.5 neutral blonde and some time 3.5 Neutral Medium brown. 2.5 it is more lighter and colder shade then 3.5. I prefer to put on 3.5 shade for evening makeup, for everyday 2,5 looks more natural for me considering my facial tone and hair colour. The pencil is medium soft, on other side there is a brush , which one doing a good job. I also use the different Benefit products for my eyebrows for make them perfect. This pencil is not cheap, but compared to different eyebrow pencil , this one I can use 2,5-3,5 months every day. Different pencils , which I tried , run out faster.

My favorite brow pencil!

I used ABH's brow products for years. From the pomade to the micro pencil and although I really liked those I felt it was easy to go overboard and make my brows too heavy looking which would require a lot of blending. I have also tried urban decays brow products and didn't like those at all(really dry). This time I wanted something I could sharpen so I could get a little more usage out of it vs the typical roll up options and decided to try this one. I swatched some in store and was impressed with the pigmentation as well as how soft it looked. I love how easy it is to make it look so natural (my brows are thick on their own.) I will be buying this product over and over again!

Perfect Brows Quick & Easy !

I've tried almost every brow product available & this is hands down the BEST . It makes doing my brows a breeze. That's saying a lot bc I have never been very good at doing them. It glides on like silk and fluffs them up. This is my second review bc i couldn't figure out how to sharpen it so the first review reflected my love for the product , but my frustration at the pencil. After reading someone else's review who said it was easy to sharpen if you use the right sharpener, i went back to try again . I found a sharpener with 2 holes and GENTLY used the smaller hole . It sharpened up like a #2 pencil before a test ! So I've come back to re-do my review. This pencil is perfect ! This is now my #1 favorite must-have makeup essential. Just know that if you have trouble sharpening it , you need a different sharpening tool and probably a gentler hand. P.s. I did not use a Benefit sharpener.

Unable to sharpen pencil

I like and use other benefit brow products and I liked this product too.Until you have to sharpen it. When you attempt to sharpen this pencil, you're first able to remove the outside wood but then you encounter the plastic enclosed brown pencil. You cannot sharpen the plastic enclosure off. I used a standard pencil sharpener, a knife and a razor blade. The hard plastic removes but it take the pencil with it.Terrible for the money and a disappointment with benefit's design.I've attached what is left of this pencil after attempting to sharpen.It's almost comical.
