Excellent. Im using this as my television replacement with a 112 screen in my living room with a large window. It works great with a ALR screen and is perfect at night. I couldnt be happier with it. I use it for hours at a time with no over heating.

Only had this BenQ for a week, so still playing around with features and settings. First impressions are very positive, and my only problem is getting enough 4K material to watch! Runs quite warm, but so did my 1080ST before this. Which I have kept as a back up slightly longer throw on the 850 so have a little work to move the ceiling mount and connections back about 5 feet. Then I will appreciate the detail on a larger image.

This projector did not work out of the box. It will not recognize the source. I thought perhaps I needed to upgrade my hdmi cables so bought new expensive hcdp 2.2 compatible cables but still can't get it to recognize the source. Will be returning it and going back to Epson which lasted me forever.

This is an upgrade from Optoma 1080p projector and I'm sort of regretting it. First off picture with 4k source is great and with 1080p is as good as old projector, the problem is 23.976hz material ie blue rays, most of Netflix, for some reason this projector is only compatible with 24hz 50hz and 60hz, so ok with TV but play a blue ray and it plays 23.976hz at 24hz so it jumps every 43 seconds. My old projector had no such problems. I tried motion enhancer but that made things worse and sound goes out of sync. Contacted Benq and they have said they will not fix this, ie firmware upgrade, so I'm stuck with it. will probably try to return for refund.
Bought to upgrade a 6 year old Epson EH-TW5200 1080p projector and I'm not disappointed the difference in picture quality is amazing, colours bright and crisp and the sports mode watching football really stands out. Projector is used for full time viewing in the living room day and night so wanted something that could perform during the day in a fairly bright room. Was a straight swop with my old projector as the mount adjusted to fit the BenQ no problem so was up and running in 10 mins enjoying new 4K on a 120" screen just wish I had upgraded sooner now
This projector was a replacement for a different unit that was smarter but the smart functions didn’t work. Therefore, I went for a different brand which I am very pleased with. I have to say I was very pleased with the service from Richer Sounds whose customer service was excellent
It was a pleasure to watch the rugby on this projector. Very clear, no motion blurring and the colours looked great.Well worth the money.
It could be a great projector but the fan and processor are just way too loud. I returned one thinking it was defective fromhow loud it was but the replacement is the same. I then sent it back for repairs and they said it’s normal. But it’s upwards of 60dbs with a high pitched buzz. It’s too late to return it otherwise I would. I’ll have to build a hush box otherwise it’s completely unusable.
I bought this after reviews suggested it was excellent in bright rooms or outside in gardens. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations when used outside during daylight hours. Evening viewing was ok.
I decided to upgrade my rather out dated Sony DPL for the BenQ TK850This is a stunning projector with vivid and sharp images the blows the Sony out of the water.Have a look on YouTube for so honest review. Definitely worth a purchase
