This product would be a five star product IF all of the features worked. The 3D feature is a key feature that influenced my decision to purchase. Also the customer service at Benq is subpar at best. I decided to go with Optima instead.

I really love this projector. Games and movies look awesome on it. It does take a little adjusting to get the picture centered on the screen, so it's something to think about it you plan on moving it around to different rooms. I also wish it had a zoom feature. Picture quality, especially the colors really pop.

Coloring on the projector straight out of the box was incredible. It?s also extremely quiet. The square design makes it look massive on the ceiling though, which I?m fine with but do note that if hanging it in your living room. My only complaint (and I think this is more an issue with my audio receiver) is my Xbox series x doesn?t seem to work in 4k, only 1080 mode. So I?m still trying to figure that out.

This projector is hands down the best you can buy for $2000. Stunning crisp 4K hdr and low input lag for gaming. This projector really opens up a whole new dimension to gaming, and thrills on movie nights! I can’t wait to see what Benq comes out with next!
The image is sharp and colors are accurate. Love the projector. I can't see rainbow effect from the DLP chip. Be aware the pixel shifting technology emits a low buzzing sound when using 4k content, some may find it annoying, but with movie or game sound, you don't hear it. Only cons: No Netflix ( I use a Playstation instead) and no optical lens shift.
I upgraded from my LG Oled to the this BenQ x3000i, and I’m so glad I did. I wanted to go larger then my 55 inch TV and I stumbled upon this little beast of a Projector that allowed my to go 100 in.The setup was pretty simple thanks to BenQ’s tutorial video and support.A little tweaking of the colors and I am even more impressed every time I watch movies and play games. Oh yeah! The input lag is pretty much not a difference from my Oled… soo yeah, I’m glad I made the upgrade.
I am not a gamer, I got it for its fabulous Cinema performance, and it has not disappointed, rather the challenge is finding sources worthy of its resolution and rich, accurate color. My most satisfying Home Theater purchase ever! The lack of image shift is challenging, but if you deal with its native positioning the results are well worth it.
Picture quality is good. Held out ordering until now because I wanted the current firmware 9.02 that supports 3D SBS and TB.What I ended up was version 1.01! How disappointing as this 8 versions old and 9.02 has been out for 8 months. Now if I want it updated I need to contact support and send it in. Not sure yet my cost for this. Plus, I don't trust having it shipped and sitting on my step with the box marked with product name info outside. Chances it being stolen pretty high. Have 2 days left to return.
The image quality is good except some black levels. It comes with an android tv stick and the remote should work with IR for the projector and Bluetooth for the android box. But it doesn't. It works with one or the other. To access the projector menu or inputs you have to unlink the remote from de android tv. Then sync the remote to andoird box to use it again.... its a pain to use. There was a firmware update to fix it, after it is like a lottery where sometimes it works with both or only the android tv stick. If you dont want issues is better to ignore the tv stick, never set it up and use the remote for the projector only. For a 2k product it should work better and out of the box.
I went from BENQ HT1075 - which is still good - to BENQ X3000i. What an upgrade! 4k@60 FPS (120 inch screen) is great for gaming on a PS5 and love the response times. The various preset gaming modes offered are convenient - though I still adjusted the picture settings for each mode based on personal preference.Movie nights are great too, with pictures and HDR really popping on the screen. The brightness levels are great - and a significant change over my older model.I opted to send the projector in to warranty service - to upgrade firmware for support with all 3D formats. This was an inconvenient process (support was great) and hopefully the latest models being shipped out do not have this need (my purchase was at the end of November 2022).We don’t use the ... MoreI went from BENQ HT1075 - which is still good - to BENQ X3000i. Audio is hooked up to a receiver, so the projector speakers are not used as well. Keep in mind, this doesn’t support 4K/120HZ and VRR/ ALM etc. Also there’s no lens-shifting, which reduces placement flexibility. Keystone correction is offered, but not recommended if you want to get the best picture quality possible.Overall - extremely happy with this projector for gaming & movie nights and represents a solid upgrade from a 1080p model.
