Bentgo Fresh Leak-proof Bento Lunch Box Grey

Overall, I am impressed with the design. It was exactly what I wanted for my kids, when they need to-go lunches or snacks. I love how it is easy to clean. The compartment piece easily snaps on and off. It feels sturdy. It’s truly the perfect size!

Do not put in dishwasher on high heat!!!

Great lunch box for older kids too!!!!I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher and the seal melted. I should have know better and too bad the seal can’t be replaced because it’s pretty much useless now and a waste. Don’t want it ending up in the landfill.Would be great with option to replace seal because it is a super sturdy but didn’t get the usage I expected.Moral of the story? Don’t put in dishwasher and it will last years!

Great Product For Pre-Teen

Our twelve year old daughter loves packing and using this aqua colored Bentgo box for school lunches. It has plenty of room for a variety of foods, a lot more so than the kid sized Bentgo box we bought for her younger six year old sister. They have fun packing their lunches and are enjoying eating a lot healthier foods for lunch now as well. While a lunch bag to carry it in is not totally necessary (the Bentgo box closes and seals well and can go straight into a backpack), I wish that I could find a matching lunch bag that it will fit properly in….putting it in a lunch bag would also allow room for a drink or juice pouch as well as any necessary plastic spoons, forks or napkins. Great product

I bought this for my son and he absolutely loved it! NO spills at all. However, after using it for a year, I noticed some black spots on the lid's seal. The good thing is that it was still under warranty and the customer representative offered to send a replacement.

Kid loves it, we love it!

Our Preschool stopped serving breakfast, lunch and snack about six months ago. We chose this type as our sons “breakfast box” since we usually send a warm breakfast while choosing the “chill” box for lunch. We choose 2 of these in green. One is used that day the other is usually in the dishwasher or drying rack. We chose blue boxes for lunch, helpful for our child and Teacher to differentiate between. These have been used continuously since purchasing and they still look brand new. They clean up really well and are sturdy. I love all the different sections. Perfect for Kindergarten

I bought this for my daughter for Kindergarten and it’s perfect! The seperate compartments completely seal, stopping juice from fruit getting into her sandwiches etc. it’s a great size too with enough room for her snack and lunch. Only comment for Bentgo as a great idea, would be to have some kind of clip on ice pack as an optional extra, as opposed to a loose ice pack.

We love our Bentgo Fresh lunch boxes!

My kids outgrew their Yumbox lunch boxes. They needed something larger and deeper. I was so glad that I discovered the Bentgo Fresh lunch boxes. These were a nice option after they got older. The deeper compartments allow us to put bagels, larger sandwiches, and big sections of banana inside the lunchbox. So far they have been leak free, too; and we put things like pasta and orange chicken in the compartments. I also think that these are easier to open and close than some other brands, as well. So a young child might have an easier time with the handles on these. I also like how easy these are to clean. I just put the inner tray in the dishwasher and wash the outside by hand.From my experience, I suggest buying 2 Bentgo Fresh boxes per kid. mold growth

Very disappointed in this product. Been using for 5 months and loved it but now I see mold growth on the rubber part of outer tray. I tried to kill the mold with vinegar but it still remains. I hand washed it daily and let air dry so not sure how this happened. Bentgo said they would mail out a new one to replace this one so hoping I will have better luck with the next one. Really frustrating overall.
