I’m sure every child loves snacks, and bentgo is the best way to get children to eat MORE because it makes eating fun! Each section can hold just enough to provide a wide variety of items. We’ve been using this since my daughter was 3. She’s 5 now, in kindergarten, and we’re still using the same one for her school lunches. The largest section can hold a mini croissant, half a sandwich, slice of pizza, etc. The smallest section I like to use for a little treat (mini cookies, nuts and mms, etc). The other sections I like to fill with fruit, cheese, chips or a variety of something else. Some people use the smallest section for dips or sauces. Unfortunately the soy sauce got on the lid and in some of the other sections. So I would not trust this for liquidy items that you wouldn’t want to get on the other foods. To remedy this, you could buy a small stainless steel dip container (one that comes with a silicone lid), and put that inside the bentgo in the large section. Other than that, the bentgo DOES NOT LEAK. I have never seen food or liquids leave the container while closed. Foods always stay on their sections. You just have to be mindful with sauces potentially moving from the section you put it in. Bentgo is long lasting and reliable!

When my kids were toddlers, they wouldn't eat fruits and vegetables for snacks. It was tough to get them to eat healthy. So, I started preparing fruits and veggies in fun shapes and serving them on colorful plates. Bentgo lunchboxes made it easier. I bought bright colors and made different fun shapes. Now, they eat everything. I love Bentgo products and always order their lunchboxes. They are made from high-quality materials and are very durable. We've been using them for over three years, and they still look like new. Easy to clean.

We purchased the Bentgo kids print 5 compartment lunch box for our 6 year old daughter. I saw one of her classmates had one during a field which I had volunteered to chaperone. We purchased the rainbow and butterflies print Bentgo box because she's likes pink. She loves it and has been using this lunchbox every day. She eats everything that we pack her. So if you're the parent of a picky eater, do not hesitate to get the bentgo lunch box for your child. Your child will wat more because you will be able to pack a variety of food for them. Before we got this lunch box, my child would only about 1/2 the food we pack her. There's 5 compartments so the food is kept separated and doesn't get all mixed up inside. I bought 3 Bento Kids Boxes over 2 years ago for my children (now ages 4, 8 and 10). They use them everyday. Their food stays fresh, does not leak, stays in its own compartment and the kids enjoy making their own lunches, too. Of course, when packing the lunches, I help the kids make their lunches colorful with fruits, vegetables and other nutrient-dense options, which the kids eat (and I love that they eat so healthy).Yesterday, the plastic coating on the top has started coming off (but only on 1 of the Bentgo Boxes), yet it is 3 months past the warranty (they are over 2 years old now). I called to ask if I could purchase the outer box (since the inner shell is still intact). Excellent product, it makes lunches fun, my kids eat healthy, and I am extremely impressed with their customer service!
I got this box to replace a cheaper box I had for my first child. We still use those cheaper boxes for the beach, etc, but turns having a lunchbox your kindergartener can open/close themselves is pretty important 😂🤷 Worked well, and we eventually passed it along to kid 2 when they entered daycare and got kid 1 a bentgo chill, which holds more/larger foodGreat box for your daycare-aged kiddo. Due to smaller compartments, I would recommend bentgo chill/similarly roomier box for grade school kids.I took rach dishwasher the inner tray, it's held up great. The silicone lids of both my bentgo boxes developed mildew that stained the gaskets. This isn't covered under warranty, but customer service is sending me new boxes anyway, and passed along the following tips for ... MoreI got this box to replace a cheaper box I had for my first child. I bought two pack of these for my two kids in daycare a year ago. They have worked perfectly for our needs, although on the fresh ones our day care provider has lost the insert/divider on both our boxes which is a pain, but not Bentgo’s fault. In fact I reached out to them when it happened and they send me two dividers for free! Daycare has since lost those but I haven’t reached out again since I’m sure they will just continue to lose them. However I reached out this week because the one kids lunchbox latch broke. I figured they wouldn’t be able to do anything, but they immediately responded that a replacement is on its way to me. I was shocked as I purchased this product just over a year ago. You have just secured a customer for life! When these boxes are worn out I will be buying them again! As for functionality I love both boxes for different reasons. I love that I can add ranch dressing for my kids veggies right to the kids one and the bigger spots are nice for larger fruit in the fresh box. I fill both up on Sunday so Monday and Tuesday lunches are covered but I may just purchase a couple more so I can prep more lunches and make our evenings a little less hectic. Thanks for providing an awesome product and standing behind it!Signed a tired mom who loves when products make my life easier!
I have a few of these lunch boxes for my 2 young children. Not only do we use them for lunch but we take them while we travel as snack boxes on to go! We even take them out to eat and put the leftovers in to save on the plastic take away containers! They are just the right size for the portion sizes kids need. They also stand behind their products and how many companies do that now days? They are also aligned with community out reach. These are companies that I will continue to come back to. They think about the lifetime of their products and they are thinking about their contributions to community and the broader w.orld.I look forward to seeing if they move down the more sustainable materials route.Overall, great product and company.
I was on the fence of buying one of these. I had bought a couple similar style ones on Amazon and my daughter would come home saying items leaked into other compartments. I finally bought one for her and we LOVE it! No leaks! I can pack her a variety all in the same lunch box and all the food stays in the right spot. Carrots and ranch with ranch not all over, perfect! I ended up buying another for my daughter who started preschool. The other thing I love is each night you can throw them right into the dishwasher. Don't think twice, save yourself the time and money and purchase one!
I have used the bentgo kids lunchbox systems for my son for the last 3 years and they have never leaked unless he didn't close it correctly in his first year using them (he was 3 so he just wasn't always paying attention). I've had 2 issues with the silicone seals either showing wear or small spots of mildew and customer service replaced the system for me both times! My son is now turning 6 and these have lasted the whole kindergarten year with still no issues. I also aide at a local preschool and lots of kids have these for their lunch and we never have to help them get to their food- everyone else needs help opening packages or baggies! Makes the kids so self sufficient and saves us a lot of time. Thank you Bentgo!
When my child started preschool, I looked at many different kids lunchboxes from stainless steel to all in one kits. I landed on this one because out of all of them, this one gave us the most bang for our buck in addition to the ease of use for toddler hands. I bought a few more so that I didn’t have to constantly wash the same one each night. The only (minor) issue we have has so far is that the rubber outer ring developed a small hole. I emailed customer service & they responded immediately & offered to send me a replacement. The kind representatives & their ability to stand by their product will make me a customer for life. Word of advice, do not put the outer container in the dishwasher as it is recommended to hand wash.
