Unfortunately the soy sauce got on the lid and in some of the other sections. So I would not trust this for liquidy items that you wouldn’t want to get on the other foods. To remedy this, you could buy a small stainless steel dip container (one that comes with a silicone lid), and put that inside the bentgo in the large section. Other than that, the bentgo DOES NOT LEAK. I have never seen food or liquids leave the container while closed. Foods always stay on their sections. You just have to be mindful with sauces potentially moving from the section you put it in. Bentgo is long lasting and reliable!

When my kids were toddlers, they wouldn't eat fruits and vegetables for snacks. It was tough to get them to eat healthy. So, I started preparing fruits and veggies in fun shapes and serving them on colorful plates. Bentgo lunchboxes made it easier. I bought bright colors and made different fun shapes. Now, they eat everything. I love Bentgo products and always order their lunchboxes. They are made from high-quality materials and are very durable. We've been using them for over three years, and they still look like new. Easy to clean.

I bought 3 Bento Kids Boxes over 2 years ago for my children (now ages 4, 8 and 10). They use them everyday. Their food stays fresh, does not leak, stays in its own compartment and the kids enjoy making their own lunches, too. I love that I can add ranch dressing for my kids veggies right to the kids one and the bigger spots are nice for larger fruit in the fresh box. I have a few of these lunch boxes for my 2 young children. Not only do we use them for lunch but we take them while we travel as snack boxes on to go! We even take them out to eat and put the leftovers in to save on the plastic take away containers! They are just the right size for the portion sizes kids need. They also stand behind their products and how many companies do that now days? They are also aligned with community out reach. These are companies that I will continue to come back to. I was on the fence of buying one of these. I had bought a couple similar style ones on Amazon and my daughter would come home saying items leaked into other compartments. I finally bought one for her and we LOVE it! No leaks! I can pack her a variety all in the same lunch box and all the food stays in the right spot. Carrots and ranch with ranch not all over, perfect! I ended up buying another for my daughter who started preschool. The other thing I love is each night you can throw them right into the dishwasher. Don't think twice, save yourself the time and money and purchase one!
I have used the bentgo kids lunchbox systems for my son for the last 3 years and they have never leaked unless he didn't close it correctly in his first year using them (he was 3 so he just wasn't always paying attention). I've had 2 issues with the silicone seals either showing wear or small spots of mildew and customer service replaced the system for me both times! My son is now turning 6 and these have lasted the whole kindergarten year with still no issues. I also aide at a local preschool and lots of kids have these for their lunch and we never have to help them get to their food- everyone else needs help opening packages or baggies! Makes the kids so self sufficient and saves us a lot of time. Thank you Bentgo!
When my child started preschool, I looked at many different kids lunchboxes from stainless steel to all in one kits. I landed on this one because out of all of them, this one gave us the most bang for our buck in addition to the ease of use for toddler hands. I bought a few more so that I didn’t have to constantly wash the same one each night. The only (minor) issue we have has so far is that the rubber outer ring developed a small hole. I emailed customer service & they responded immediately & offered to send me a replacement. The kind representatives & their ability to stand by their product will make me a customer for life. Word of advice, do not put the outer container in the dishwasher as it is recommended to hand wash.
