My daughter received the lunch bag as a birthday gift and she absolutely adored the pattern and the color. The bag was big enough for a lunch box plus a small juice box, and it also had a side pocket for water bottle. My daughter loved it so much we also got matching ice packs few weeks later.After using it for less than 6 months, one of the seams on the handle started to fray. I contacted Bentgo customer service and the rep was really nice and responsive. The rep replied within 48 hours after I sent the email, honored the warranty without a hassle, and agreed to send a new lunch bag.I had a great experience with the products and Bentgo customer service. I would highly recommend it!

Purchased this for my 6-year-old going into 1st grade because it is absolutely adorable. It seems very durable and made well! Great quality! We usually buy pottery barn lunch boxes and this is comparable to those! My only complaint is the size!! IT IS OVERSIZED AND EXTREMELY BULKY! Way too big for her to carry with a backpack. Works great for my 3rd grader but not my little 1st grader! Should read - ideal for children 8

Love the size of the bag as it fits the box well with room for more. Cute designs, so lots of options for every personality. Unfortunately we have now received 3 of the same lunch box (purple with unicorns) and all 3 have handle that broke with in days of using. Very unfortunate as we received as a gift. Customer service was nice and did replace our first one but the same issue happened. Just want to give other buyers a heads up so the same issue doesn’t happen to them. Hopefully it’s just a defect in that design. I’ve resorted to just cutting the handle off. Rest of the lunch box is great. Pictures are of all three lunch boxes.

The insulated lunch bag is light weight. It has three ways to carry it which I appreciate the designer for being thoughtful. Kids love to grab and go fast. So multiple ways to carry the lunch bag is a good idea. The bag has a water bottle compartment that has a drawstring to either tighten or loosen as needed. This design is perfect for growing kids. The lunch bag is also big enough to store a utensil holder in it. Thumbs up!
We have owned Bentgo hard boxes for over a year and love them (they hold a great amount of food, provide separation/organization and never leak!!), so when it was time to buy new lunch bag, it was a no brainer to try these. We haven’t used them yet, but first impression is amazing! They’re a great size (bigger than the pottery barn boxes). I love this because occasionally my kids want an extra yogurt or bag of snacks. It will be easier to fit extras this year. The glitter variety is beautiful!! We ordered the pink.We also love the size of the side water bottle pocket as well as the fact that there are 2 handles to choose from when carrying.
The handle started breaking almost immediately. The image below is after about 15 days of use.A much bigger issue for me is the size of this lunch bag. It’s huge. It will fit the Bentgo kids lunch box plus the Bentgo kids water bottle inside it, not even counting the external bottle holder. It would be great for picnics, but it’s unwieldy for a little kid to tote to school. The clip is also way too stiff for a little kid to unclasp.My kiddo’s school puts the lunch bags on a cart to haul to the cafeteria, so the 2-in-1 backpack wouldn’t work. I got the regular Bentgo backpack, and this lunch bag will fit inside it but it takes up the entire bag. I’d love if it were about 2/3 the size.
Second lunch bag for my daughter. The first one is used almost everyday despite we have another 4 from other brands to use in turn. It's the most versatile bag for us. It can fit 2 small lunch boxes, or 1 standard box plus a drink or snack/fruit or whatever. And still have a place for the water bottle in the outer mesh pocket. 3 ways to carry make it more versatile. I like it is more like an all-in-one bag. Nothing is left behind. So when my daughter brings the meal to the canteen, she need to carry only one bag with her hand or sling it over the shoulder. Her hands can be free in case she still need to carry something else. Plus she can carry it by the handle on the flap in case I bring her something that need to be laid flat.
I got this for my 4th grader perfect size ,no spills , happy kid ! Perfect ! Bag has 2 big zippers too 1 outside and 1 inside which are so usefull and the side mesh pocket is big enough to hold his juice ,even adjust a small danimal smoothie in it safely. Straps are very sturdy and easy to carry , design is vibrant and cute too. Have been using Bento Boxes and Bento lunch bags for so many years. Our whole family is a fan. Cant trust anyother brand other than this one. Amazing customer service too. They really care for their customers.
I bought 2 lunch bags for my twin toddlers about 2 months ago for preschool. They LOVE them. The matching prints are cute and the teachers love that they can easily tell everything for my kids apart. When we aren’t using them for school, my kids are filling them with toys and carrying them around the house. My daughter even filled hers with crayons and any residue easily wiped right out! I love that when their backpacks are too full they can be strapped to the outside instead. We will be traveling for the holidays and I know that this entire set is going to be the hero of our trip!
got this for my son, it’s very convenient because I don’t have to use so many containers, and it’s all in one container. I also like everything it brings and the actual lunch bag it’s big enough for extra snacks. HOWEVER I am taking a star off because the actual container where the food goes it’s too small, the spaces are too small and I struggle packing his lunch to school because not too much food fits.Other than that, it was a good purchase again I just wish the food container, the spaces were bigger. If you have a kid who likes to eat a lot stay away from this one, it’s definitely for smaller kids or kids who don’t eat much.
