We bought two of these new "modern" lunch boxes for my teens over a year ago and can honestly say that we love the product! They went for a year without any issues, and recently we contacted Bentgo about their 2 year warranty. They kindly offered us replacements right away (back connection had cracked). I like to shop on the Bentgo website because I can see all the options available and sometimes can find sales. We've used the plastic kid lunch boxes with their fun designs for years as well and even have a matching bentgo backpack with the mermaid design and attached bottom compartment for the lunch box. We liked the overall size of the lunchbox (it fit in our current Jansport lunch break lunch bags), the size of the individual compartments (big enough for full apple slices), the removable divider option, and the color options. We had intended to use them for everyday school lunches for a 7 and 9 yr old. Based on the product images and product description I interpreted the individual compartments to be leak-proof, but they are not. We tested with water in one of the compartments and it leaked into both the other compartments. I can't be sure, but I feel like the product description has been updated since I purchased and describes the product as leak-resistant. We are going to try one of the other Bentgo styles, one ... I have been using this product for four months now, and I purchased two sets for my teenagers. The size is perfect for both teens and even adults, which is a definite plus.
