All precision Salt Mills are spring-loaded for even and adjustable grinding to season with precision during and after cooking. It has an open cavity design for maximum throughput of salt grinds. The material is non-wearing and has anti-corrosion features, giving you reassurance that salt will not corrode the mechanism. Stripping the peppercorn brings out natural oils in the peppercorn, releasing more flavour, aroma and is ideal for the best seasoning during and after cooking. All precision mills are adjustable to change the coarseness of the grind. This mechanism has machine cut, case hardened premium carbon steel. The carbon steel has surface plating for anti-corrosion protection, more robust performance and increased longevity. The ultra-sharp mechanism design ensures increased grinding durability and the spring loaded design ensures even grinding consistency. Salt cannot be used in a mill with a carbon steel mechanism as this will rust the mechanism.
