A nappy changing staple

With a 6 month old and a 2 year old, I change a lot of nappies, and i've tried a fair number of different barrier creams and ointments for nappy rash. Bepanthen is one of the staples; it's fragrance free, thick and glides on, so is easy to apply to a wriggling baby, and the flip top lid is a bonus as it's easy to open and close one handed, plus there's no choking hazard of a loose lid. It's quite a greasy ointment so stays on the skin well, and not chalky like some of the other nappy products, and i've found it works brilliantly as a barrier against a dirty nappy, and clears up redness from nappy rash quickly too. It also doesn't stain like some other creams. All in all, I recommend this to all my new mum friends, and there's always a tube in our change bag.

Best nappy rash ointment

My son suffers really badly from nappy rash and having tried many barrier creams, this is far the best product we have used. Bepanthen has helped to clear up his nappy rash and helps to protect the skin from any further irritation by creating a barrier between the skin and moisture. The ointment has a good texture not too thick or thin and applies easily and absorbs into the skin. It also has a pleasant smell. I am very pleased with this product and continue to use this at every nappy change. Happy baby = happy family!

Bepanthen is literally the best cream for babies, my 7month old is teething so is getting a sore irritated bottom… I at first used Sudocrem but noticed my son was more unsettled than usual, not sleeping much during the night. I assumed as he’s teething he’s probably got sore gums so I comforted him and tended to his needs. He was still quite unsettled, I had a thought “oh maybe he’s got a dirty nappy” I check and notice his bottom is ever so slightly swollen and red with tiny bumps which he never had before using the sudocrem. Just as good as leading brands

I heard good things about this product and with a new born recently joining our family. I thought I would give it a go. I did a small test patch first as I wasn’t sure but my daughter had no reaction. So I eventually used it in other areas and it cleared up the rash so quickly. The texture is smooth and no hard to spread like some other creams I have used on my eldest child. It’s easy to apply, smells fine and works really well. Safe and effective

All my children get sore bottoms and I find Bepanthen a great simple solution. It’s not artificial nor does it have a chemical smell which I really dislike. It applies easily and doesn't have that sticky clumpy application that some do. It lasts and keeps the skin clear of redness or irritation. I don’t have any significant faults; if I had to find something it would be it can be tricky to get out of clothes in the wash, but have found a quick scrub and it does life. An essential item for my house.

It seem to work better on dry skin I would not advise putting on broken skin I would add it to my babies bums at the first fist point of red ness to try a protective layer Lightly put the cream on your babies bum it is easy to apply and spreads well and it does help with ‘reinforce the skin’s natural barrier and help stop the chemicals in urine and faeces from irritating the skin’ (accoding to bepanthan). Price I think for me is irrelevant in this case if I works for you like it has me see quick results then it’s well worth the purchase. My children have had mild nappy rash and this help just to get it undercontrol and prevent it from getting worse I used the cream daily for 2weeks and there has been continues improvements and now I am using it as a barrier to prevent nappy rash and my children are all clear. My twins are teething at the moment and both seem to get increase nappy rash at this time. Nappy rash seems to appear when teething theg cream give some relief when already suffering from teething pain Within 2 days I saw a difference in skin sensitivity and redness also appearing to help to heal the skin.Iv tried other products that where not suitable for my children’s sensitive skin that hasn’t made change. My oldest daughter has atopic exzema and I am cautious in putting anything on my babies skin. I think the cream is easier to spread on the skin and thinner and a softer appearance than competitors such as suda cream and I think it suits sensitive skin better as its not too tick or pasty I love that it contains no fragrance as I feel that there is lots of products with added ingredience we don’t need to use on the market. It appears to be in a small container but I have found that its very thick and you don’t need much per application as it spreads far on the skin, small tubes which can be deceiving a little goes a long way. I found it work well for dribble rash under the chin too as they seem to get this more when they are teething it worked very well on day 2 it was nearly gone im very impressed a must try if you already haven’t. not only that as a parent you get dry hands too I found it worked I my dry hands great and I would even by this product for myself which I am quite surprised to say it seems it not only suitable for nappy rash I also visited there web site and it has lots of information about babies and bedtimes ect that I found useful too I think the cream is multi-functional iv now also used it for dry skin and my children’s eczema. I would tell my children I was magic cream as they get older if they had dry skin I would us this for it as I work quickly The cream can be used day or night it is not part of my night time routine and I use it every day now. I saw real results .It seems to be one of the longest lasting nappy creams I have found. It sure does prevent the skin drying and therefor helps to sooth and heal.
