The 2-inch Gulp Sandworm is an essential item in any tackle kit. You can use it light-weighted or with a 1/6oz jig head. Live worms are great bait in any Australian estuary, but the Gulp Sandworm is deadly on a wide variety of estuary and freshwater species, and a whole lot easier to keep. It can be fished against structure, such as boats and pylons. Its slowly sinking, wiggling action will entice most fish to have a go at it. Slowly-worked Sandworms over sand flats and weedbeds have accounted for many whiting, bream, luderick and dusky flathead.
