Dark and sweet, with a subtle secondary taste reminiscent of cinder toffee. This was an unexpected delight, and my first foray into the land of Manuka. 'Super-food' references aside, in its own right as a honey this is a unique product that is unlike other honey I have tasted before. I've been having teaspoons daily, and mixed once with porridge, another time in warm water with lemon. A little does go a long way, and while the price is budget-inflating, I do feel it is not unreasonable, all things considered.

I agree with the reviews below, about the bottle being useless and the honey crystallising too soon. As its expansive I wanted to make the honey last a long time, so its frustrating that it crystallised before I could use it all. With a better bottle you could still reach all the honey, but I couldnt, and got fed up trying to dig it out with a knife.

Every time I purchase this honey it crystallises when I get about half way through the bottle. I have to melt it in the microwave or warm water which makes the bottle melt and the whole thing becomes very messy. Not worth the price if this keeps crystallising like iced granita all the time. I notice several other reviews about this crystallising issue have mysteriously disappeared from this site. Hmmm.

The (plastic) bottle opening detracts from the quality of the honey. It?s too large, therefore incredibly messy - however careful one attempts to be when pouring it. Each time I have tried to use a small amount, it simply oozes all over the opening. Frustrating, messy and wasteful. Such a shame.
I have now bought three bottles of this and two bottles have crystallised when half way through and I have therefore had to throw them out as can't use it. Disappointing and expensive to just throw in the bin. Also, had two bottles that leaked as well. if standing on their lids. So in short, I am reverting to my favoured manuka honey company - Steens.
I love the depth of flavour this honey has, but just wish there was a way to stop it crystallising. I suspect doing that though would add an additive Id rather not have in there. Ill try another brand but think Ill be back as nothing else tastes quite as good!
It's good value Manuka honey that tastes nice BUT I won't be buying again because the plastic bottle is useless... the honey is very thick and it's extremely difficult to squeeze it out plus the the seal on the cap is not very effective and the honey leaks everywhere and makes an awful mess. Such I shame that is doesn't come in a glass jar.
Dear honey lovers, This honey is perfect drizzled in my morning porridge. I found porridge a bit bland for years, but persisted with it as it kept me full till lunch, but now.... this honey has made it delicious. I would highly recommend this easy pouring honey, with a mild sweetness. Very reasonable price too, compared to the other brands. Go on, buy some, your body deserves it. Regards Honest Mark
I like this honey even though it tastes stronger than the honey I usually have. I have a teaspoon with lemon juice and warm water to start the day. I have never spent this much on honey before but feel, by the end of the bottle I may budget for the occasional bottle. also love the squeeze bottle, so much easier to measure out without mess!
This honey is quite thick, dark and very sweet. It is closer to syrup than most other honey but has an almost earthy aftertaste. If you're a fan of the taste of honey as opposed to just the sweetness, then this is one for you. I am really enjoying it drizzled onto plain yoghurt and stirred into tea.
