The Icebreaker Deck stands out for the versatility of its prompts, ranging in fields from the superficial "Would you rather..." to "deep." Each topic is color-coded for easier access, and the deck feels compact enough to carry with you without trouble. The cards are thick and durable, and the amount of prompts (150) is high enough that I doubt many people would be able to get through all of them any time soon. I highly recommend this product to anyone who organizes first meetings but always has trouble picking up momentum.

I like the concept and it's certainly a useful deck of cards, but the questions are largely boring or unusuable, very few excite you into starting a conversation. It would be good to add some more 'fun' questions, e.g. "Would you ever take part in a threesome". That's not a great example, I'm just saying there are many types of question to get conversations flowing, and these ones are not ideal. Also the cards are large and bulky (too thick). I would prefer a more compact format to make carrying them around easier.

I recently bought the Best Self Icebreaker Deck. I use it to teach my Adult ESL class. These questions are great for reading, writing, listening, and speaking. They have really helped my students open up and express themselves. It's also helped them understand abstract concepts, such as past, present, and future. It's also asked them to make hypothetical choices and really explain their reasoning. It's been a complete game changer in my classroom.

I really enjoy this and it might seem awkward at first to bring it up with friends or with co-workers, but it really is fun and it's self-perpetuating because people really start to open up. We eventually started coming up with our own questions to ask too. Only card I threw out is the "what's the best thing about the opposite gender" because I have non-binary friends and it's not a great question.
I enjoy using these cards with friends and even my girlfriend. It creates a frame for a different kind of conversation that might not be as regular in our day-to-day interactions. I really appreciate being able to uncover new dimensions of an individuals personality, views, and upbringing, which has helped foster richer relationships that have far more depth.
We use these as a small family of four with two boys: one age ten And age three to review our day: with our “peak”, our “thankful” moment and now our icebreaker cards. Some we have to **** out if they can’t quite be relatable to a ten year old but he gets a kick out of sharing his thoughts with us and we are addicted to this nightly routine! It’s fun getting to know those you see daily with closer bonds discussing “who are the three people you want on your team if there was a zombie apocalypse?” and “who inspires you to be your best?” Love this novel product!!
I bought this deck for my sister’s birthday getaway, a person I have known my whole life. There are times when we get boggled down in the mundane “how are you?” “How’s work?” Life is passed us by but the conversations can be surface level. The best self deck allowed us to have deeper conversations and I learned new things about her and same for her learning new things about me.
As a life coach for singles, I wanted to do IN PERSON singles events...and needed some ICEBREAKERS. I found this ICEBREAKER card set annnnnnd ICEBREAKER DEEPER TALK. and my clients LOVED it! Our group is all about learning to improve yourself for your next (and current) relationships. ALL the products from BestSelf Co are absolutely AMAZING!! They get an A+ from this former teacher!
I love love love how the Self Planner is set up. I have looked for a very long time for a planner like this and I am using every page of it: The Bucketlist, Quarterly Benchmark, Monthly overview, Weekly Overview, Project Plan and Monthly Reflection (not using it long enough for the Quarterly Reflection, but I like this as well since we're working with quarterly OKRs at my job. Only thing I'm missing is a short weekly review. I take 30 minutes on Sunday to plan my upcoming week and ill out my week's focus, important tasks and the top priority tasks for Monday. The planner forces me to plan the top three priorities for each day of the week as well, which I'm doing at the end of every day for the next day or at the beginning of my day. I'm using the dotted boxes at the bottom for surprising insights of learnings of that day and also the dotted pages in between the weeks are all filled with my brain dump: ideas, lists, graphs and mind maps. The Self Planner really helps me to stay structured and most importantly: focused. Can't wait to fill out my Quarterly and Half Year review to substantiate how the Planner has helped me in my personal development.
I’ve used this deck with friends, colleagues and acquaintances and they’ve all absolutely loved it. We’ve had so much fun that at times we don’t wanna stop playing. I recently played with a best friend and we stayed for like an hour answering them. Highly recommend this for any or almost any environment. It’s changed my life and helped me meet lots of new people. 5/5!
