In view of the price you are paying, it is a good product that will be of assistance when cleaning a pool. There are two drawbacks in my opinion, the first being that you have to insert batteries, meaning there is no recharging possibility. Secondly, the container to catch up the debris is pretty small. But all in all and if you are going to use it for small things such as vacuuming swimming pool steps, it can be recommended.

This product arrived in a damaged, opened box. (Not necessarily a huge deal). However, the first use was very disappointing. The suction was not great. I immediately filled out a form to return the product and was told that I was responsible for shipping. First phone call was 54 minutes for her to tell me that unfortunately yes, I need to pay shipping. (Shipping is $28 for a $50 product. I tried to get them to mail me their price/shipping label and just deduct it from my refund.) The rep told me that I was better off filling out a warranty so they can replace the product because it is defective. I THEN have to fill out this information. I did so. I then get an email stating for me to call them. This is another 42 minute phone call to "problem shoot." Fine. This rep ... MoreThis product arrived in a damaged, opened box. I just got an email stating that they are out of stock of said product and now I have to WAIT! How about you just refund my money!?!? Now I have a garbage product, am out $50 AND have to wait for a replacement.

I love this pool vacuum. It is great for my small pool but the only complaint I have about it is the fact that it requires 8 AA batteries not included. I was expecting a rechargeable battery but that is my fault for not paying attention to the details of the product. Love it. Buy it

This is a great product. Works very well, cleans dirt and small leaves and grass from our portable pool. Some of the dirt is displaced and re-settles on the floor of the pool, but most is vavuumed up easily. Haven't had it for long enough to determine how long the batteries will last, but honestly it has made pool maintenance a pleasure so the cost of the batteries will be worth it. No hose connections or fittings for a filter, simple pipe free cleaning.
I bought this item last summer for our pool and it worked great. Got to use it one time this summer before it just stopped working. Very dissatisfied with amount of use we got out of it for the price we paid.
I do like the product and waiting to provide a review. It’s convenient, and as long as the batteries are good it provides adequate suction.Therein is the issue.I use it daily and found that the batteries (8 of them!) only last about 7 days until the power is reduced so much that it isn’t really effective anymore.I do like the product but do not like the short battery life. I’m sorry to say that I will be looking at other options for the pool cleaning. So if you are ok with spending oodles of money on batteries…. It’s ok.If not, then find a rechargeable option.
I Love the FLOWCLEAR Cordless Vacuum for the Pool So Much. My backyard have a big tree in there. I really don't like that big tree. When I put the poor in my backyard. The leafs will drop into my pool everywhere. The FLOWCLEAR Cordless Vacuum makes me so convenient to clean the garbage and the leafs. I highly recommend the FLOWCLEAR Cordless Vacuum.
Overall this vacuum is a good idea with limited capabilities and limited power. It's great for a small in ground spa where you can't empty the water easily. Do not expect it to clear a large pool, the shallower the better this performs. The head is about the size of my hand fully extended but the small opening prevents any capture of large debris such as big leaves. The compartment feels rather cheap but the pole feels very sturdy however be sure not to overtighten the sections as the plastic adjusters break easily.
The aquatech cordless vacuum feels pretty strong and does have telescoping option to help reach farther into the water. I was able to pick up pollen and a few small things but most things get pushed to the side. To me the thing you have to put batteries (8aa) in seemed almost to small but I was able to get them all pushed in. I guess it does have to be a tight fit to be able to go in the top of handle. I have tried a few other pool vacuums in the past and for this price range the vacuum is close to equal. However, I have had one that you can charge/recharge that worked better but it was not in the same price range but not not a whole lot more either. The aquatech will pick up some stuff but I would recommend putting a little more money in and getting a better one. ... The motor is not very strong and I can't imagine how fast you'd go through 8 batteries (that aren't cheap) so one you can charge/recharge would be much better. I would not purchase again but if you're in desperate need and it's in your price range give it a try for yourself.
this was great til it stopped working. it lasted a month or 2 during the summer and then it never turned back on again. changed batteries. checked and cleaned terminals and still nothing.😐
