Betadine Sore Throat Gargle is a concentrated anti‐bacterial formula used as an aid in the treatment of sore throats. This gargle must be diluted before use; a convenient measure is included in the pack. Ingredients Povidine-Iodine 7.5%w/v equiv. 0.75%w/v available Iodine. Directions Dilute 1mL to 20mL with water using the measure provided and gargle for 30 seconds. DO NOT SWALLOW Warnings: If the sore throat does not respond in two days or is accompanied by fever, headache, nausea or vomiting, medical attention should be sought. Not to be used in known hypersensitivity to iodine or povidone. If irritation, redness or swelling develops, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. For further information on contraindications to the use of povidone-iodine containing preparations, please refer to the package insert or consult your healthcare professional prior to use.

I recommend this to all my family. As soon as a throat tingle starts I gargle this to kill germs. Last time I had a head cold was in 2008! I lived through 2 winters in Germany and winter in Russia! This is part of my medical kit :).

This throat gargle is fantastic first sign of a scratchy throat start using it twice a day. Knock off germs before they take hold. Bigger bottle is value for money.
