Betty Crocker Blueberry Muffin Mix 500g

My family and friends love my "homemade" blueberry muffins and they have no idea they aren't made from scratch. They are the simplest to make out of all the favorites. I use Betty Crocker Blueberry Muffins mix, milk and fresh blueberries from my yard or a local you pick farm. The blueberries I used for this batch my sweet husband picked at the farm. When I say sweet husband, I sincerely mean the sweetest. He picked 3 gallons the first day they opened and it was over 110° real feel and humidity @98%. My mom and aunt are older and mom is terminal so he picked each a gallon. I use milk not water and toss in about a FULL cup of blueberries. Then bake in cute shape pans for that EXTRA personal touch. They won't know!!

These muffins are so easy to make and so yummy to eat! These are my go to for a sweet treat. Easy prep, few ingredients and very quick. The value for your money is worth it. You get enough mix for 12 muffins! They taste great, super velvety flavor inside, a nice soft crunch on the outside.

A Delicious Time Saver!

I replace the water with milk. Very good and easy to freeze! For a special touch, I dip the baked muffins in melted butter and sugar. I have a nice breakfast item, ready to go, from the freezer anytime. Grab and go! Bakes well in a cake form too. Good for semi-homemade.

Don't be fooled by the "can of blueberries"!!

Right as I mixed up the mix, there was an overwhelming artificial blueberry scent. It continued during the baking process, so strongly, that you just knew what the product would taste like. Sure enough, the taste was just as it smelled, HEAVY on the artificial flavor of blueberries. Even though it comes with a can of blueberries (which are small and very processed), as the box reads, it is artificially flavored. Personally, I have had the cheaper mixes that were artificially flavored without a can of blueberries, and I have liked it just as well or better. Don't be fooled by the can, this does not mix up as a natural blueberry flavor, not even close. And the smell lingers on everything. I doubt I will eat the rest of it, the flavor is just way too over the top.

So i havent followed the recipe since the first time i ever made this kit. The water the recipe calls for is exactly whats in the can of blueberries. I add a touch of milk to make my baked goods richer, and to even out the sugars. I cant handle krusteaz sugar content. betty crocker is my go to, but i never buy muffins in the pouch bc their bland, only the peanut butter cookie mix!

I'm in my 50s and have been making these for too many years to remember. Don't let anyone fool you, they changed the recipe. They are now horrible. Flat and flavorless. A waste of time and money. Corporations need to do better. Stop changing goods to save a few cents for your board and stockholders. People spending their money on your product should come first. Based on this there will be no more Betty Crocker in our house. I'll take the time to make them from scratch and end up with something enjoyable. Convenience is one thing, but not if it means a subpar product.

Kids loved them

Used real blueberries, these were excellent! I wish the recipe used less oil, but I guess at that point just make your own. Great quick mix! I think it’s great a little can came with the mix. Be sure to rinse them- I used these in another mix and they were a great size for muffins.

My family doesn’t like the new changes in the dire

My family doesn’t like the new changes in the directions for the wild blueberry muffins. They increase the amount of oil from 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup of vegetable oil and water from 3/4 cup to 2/3 cup. They Do Not Taste or Cook the same. Is there less batter in the Mix? I No due to hard times companies change and alter their products, however, your products have always been delicious please consider changing them back to the blueberry muffins we all are used to. Please change the recipe back to the original. I'm eating these as we speak, and they are absolutely horrendous. Where they were sweet before, these Muffins now have a very bland, yet weird taste. They are actually leaving an after-taste that tastes like chemicals. I just wish you companies would leave well enough alone. There's no need to improve on (or try) on a "once upon a time" awesome product. I won't be buying these anymore.

Protein Muffins

This is my favorite baking mix! I add some fresh drained blueberries, ( they have a small can inside) %26 a scoop of vanilla protein powder! They turn out tasty and moist! I recommend this product %26 will purchase it again! This is a Great Value %26 a great taste!
