Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Frosting - Milk Chocolate - 16 oz

Heap of Goo!Just finished frosting an adorable 6” diameter cake with 4 layers. Everything was at room temperature when I started, however the frosting was so thin and watery, it started squeezing out from between the layers when I put the third and fourth layers on. I used wooden skewers to hold everything steady and had difficulty frosting the sides of the cake, everything was oozing down onto the plate. Now my adorable cake is a heap of goo. Room temperature is 75-degrees here in FL, which seems quite normal. Why is the frosting unstable at room temperature? Very disappointed in the product and how it now wasted my efforts. I’ll have to purchase a cake instead.

Out of all of the icings on the market, this one is the one that I prefer to purchase anytime I’m making a yellow or vanilla cake because its my boyfriend and I’s favorite thing to pair with the two. There is truly nothing like having a warm slice of cake with a nice layer of milk chocolate frosting on it. Especially when the frosting has melted just a little bit so it makes it nice and warm. To die for!!

I purchased this for the sake of convenience... Unfortunately, I had great expectations, and this just tasted chemical to me. The color is excellent and the consistency is silky. However, the flavor isn't excellent, and the pricing is high for the amount of product you get! I don’t recommend it. #frosting #chocolate

Chocolate birthday bliss

So, I purchased this Betty Crocker Milk Chocolate icing in order to make my husband's favorite yearly birthday cake....a decadent triple chocolate masterpiece....three layers of chocolate cake sandwiched between thick beds of chocolate icing with chocolate chips beautifully scattered on top in this chocolate heaven in pure bliss. To me the icing is always my favorite layers and this brand NEVER disappoints. It is the perfect level of sweetness in all this chocolate overload. Now this cake is only possible IF I can hide these tubs of chocolate from my husband or else he uses them for chocolate dipped pretzels, in which case more will have to be purchased.

Love Betty Crocker milk chocolate frosting. I usually spread it on homemade brownies and on homemade cupcakes. The taste is really good that my granddaughter sometimes will eat it with a spoon. But just one spoon.

Milk chocolate gluten free frosting taste great!

I would recommend this product to my friends and family. The frosting spreads easily and smooth. It taste the same as the original frosting. My family couldn't tell a difference in taste. Anyone who eats gluten free products should try it. You want be disappointed.

Rich and Creamy best describes the frosting.

I bought Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Frosting, Milk Chocolate 16 oz to use on a Betty Crocker baked yellow cake. The top lid and aluminum under the lid were easy to take off. I stirred the frosting in the container and applied it to sections of the cake. I took my time to spread the frosting to ensure the frosting did not lift the cake topping. The container of frosting easily covered the 9 x 13 cake. The Milk Chocolate flavor is a favorite for the yellow cake. The frosting has a rich milk chocolate taste. I prefer to stir the frosting to make it less stiff and more spreadable.

don't buy if you wanted to actually stay on cake!

If I could give less than one star I would...On a room temperature cake in a 74F temperature house, (cake and cupcakes made 6 hours before frosting the so they are 100% cooled!!) it steeped all down over the cake board and cupcake cups. After I got all of the frosting nice and smooth and piped a border and did the birthday message, as well as piped all the cupcakes it was a total mess within a few hours. Made a four layer nine inch round cake, and 50 cupcakes. It was every single cupcake and the cake round I made, so it wasn't one bad cup of frosting(half was chocolate and half was vanilla frosting of this brand). I made this for a birthday party I had to trash ALL of it!!!
