Great device to use. I m so surprised to see how effective it is after using just once. I have major shoulder and upper back neck issue. And the pain and mobility get worse every time after work. But after using this device it helps me to relieve my pain completely it’s like 100 % working for me also heat function works so well. I must say now I can carry this device anywhere anytime and no more pain worry.Thanks so much for creating such good things.

This is by far the best TENS and pain relief device I've come across! I would highly recommend it! The device has 3 functions, TENS, EMS and massage and you can use heat with it as well. There's lots of different programmes for each function and the heat can be used on low or high. I find the high heat best for pain relief and I mostly switch between the TENS and massage functions. It's worth trying all though to see what suits you. I suffer from fibromyalgia and have horrendous restless legs but this device really helps to soothe that.The instruction booklet that comes with it is really helpful as it lists the different programmes for each function and shows pictures of where best to place the pads.It comes with a removable belt clip and a usb charging cable ... I have been going to the chiropractor for a very long time, and one of the therapies that has been my favorite is the Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS). I had contemplated getting a home device for quite a while, but finally decided to get one, the Beurer Digital TENS Device w/Heat.If comes with two sets of electrodes, connecting together to the device with a USB-C connection (which the USB-C port is also used to charge the battery). There is also the initial set of gel pads used to hold the electrodes in place. Even though it recommends to remove hair in application locations before using, we know that just won't happen in most cases. Luckily, the gel pads are sticky enough without being too sticky. When removing, it won't be like removing an adhesive bandage ... I like the pre-set programs and the different pulse patterns and strengths (and am actually preferring this device over the chiropractor's). For the pre-set programs, there are not any extra descriptions on what it will do (strength, pattern, etc.), just which area of the body they target, so you will need to try each to find your preference. There are 12 for TENS and 32 for EMS, with targeting arms, legs, shoulders, back, and abdomen. A chart of electrode placement is provided and corresponding number set are listed with the programs. Just place the electrodes, select the appropriate program and select the intensity levels for each channel. Along with the pre-sets, both TENS and EMS each have 3 customizable programs, where the impulse width and/or frequency along with other available settings, depending which one is selected.It does have heat available, with Low and High settings. Even on High, I really could not feel much warmth. My wife, however, did feel it. It might have just been the location I was working with at the time.I do believe now, of all of the home therapeutic devices we have, this is definitely my favorite!
I have suffered with it for 15 years. I will be traveling overseas so needed something compact. They machine is wow. I used the EMS feature on my chest and abs was wow too. Does not replace heating healthy and working out. Just barely tones the muscle. I use the EMS features I don't get to go to the gym. The tens features works great on your feet. With four contacts its very powerful. I found the gel pads on Amazon so I will be buying those to replace. The gel pads does not have a long life, fyi.

When I saw this portable device I really wanted to give it a shot, even though I was a little skeptical whether it would be the same quality as the large device at the chiropractor. This one is a small handheld device that can be charged with a standard USB-C charger. However, when I got it setup and tried it out, it worked just as well as the version the chiropractor used.The setup is relatively easy, but the directions for putting the adhesive pad to the ends wasn't the greatest. It would have been nice if they showed a better picture of how it should be put on since the picture they had showed it on the wrong part ... Luckily I had seen how they worked it at the chiro so I kept it (maybe it is self-evident, but probably better to let people know you will still need it so they don't throw it away).In terms of usage, you identify where to place the terminals based upon pictures in the instructions. If you have lower back pain, line up the two white terminals above one another where you have pain and then do the same with the black terminals. The instruction book also provides the program you should select for each muscle group.Once you have that entered, start at the lowest setting and slowly raise the power level. I slowly increased from the lowest setting to 15, but then I ramped it back down to 12-13 since it got a little painful when I moved it a little higher. I couldn't tell you what the highest setting would be, but it didn't look like I was much over 25% on the scale.The most important question was whether it worked or not. Before I started using it, I had some soreness in the back so I decided to try it there. I used it for three days in a row and definitely could feel some relief after each session. My wife also tried it and I was surprised when she said that she was going to try it on her shoulders after she did it on her back. She used it multiple times over the next couple of days and thought it helped relieve the soreness.This one also has an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) setting. I found it to be a little more jarring than the TENS. The documentation says it is to stimulate muscle growth. Hard to say in a couple of days if it really stimulates growth, but I will still leverage this for the TENS.Overall, I would recommend this TENS/EMS device for general relief from muscle soreness. It has worked for both my wife and me. Easy to use and worked well to relieve soreness and increase mobility of the sore area.

The gel-pads appear to be holding up well, so I’m hoping they don’t have to be replaced too often, since I haven’t been able to track down a price for them. All-in-all, I’m very pleased with this product. It’s much more robust than the other TENS unit I have in that it provides numerous pre-configure programs, both TENS and EMS, and it has heat… and the heat is wonderful. I would personally recommend this product to anyone looking a product to help with muscle pain/tightness.
Cons: Too many features which I will never use, and the pads do not last as long as promised. The replacement pads are very expensive and, apparently, can only be ordered through the company. My last TENS machine had pads that lasted much longer, were much less expensive, and far easier to find.Pros: the unit does work well and I do love the heat feature.All-in-all, it’s a decent product but far too expensive for what I need. Would not order it again.

Who doesn't have extra charging adapters lying around?The entire system is very robust in design and the quality of workmanship that went into the design is very apparent as soon as you open the box. The robust cabling harness, the electrodes and the main unit are all solidly constructed.At the time of this review, I was unable to find readily available gel pads to go on the electrode pads but those that are included with the system are easily cleaned & maintained with water and a lint-free cloth. Just make sure to have clean skin prior to use as the skins natural body oils will impede your ability to get a firm application of the pads.We were able to get more than 5 full, 30-minute Tens sessions (without heat and at moderate strength levels...) after the first initial charge and there was still approx. 1/3 of battery level remaining.And no more wasteful alkaline battery replacement. Outstanding!Depending on if you are new to Tens therapy or accustomed to a very old unit, I'd recommend that you start at low intensity levels - say - below a strength value of 18 for either channel. (1 channel = 1 pair of electrode pads...). This unit is capable of packing a real punch if you position the pads close to each-other, thereby focusing on a small surface area of your body. For instance, we primarily love Tens therapy on the area around the base of the neck and spanning across each shoulder blade area. Obviously, individual responses will vary, so just start off with lower intensity sessions - and work up from there.It's worth noting that the owner's manual included with the Beurer EM59 Digital TENS device is very detailed and masterfully written. There is full coverage of all the preprogrammed functions + clear instructions how to create custom profiles along with a solid troubleshooting guide. Kudos to Beurer for putting so much thought into the manual.Using the Beurer EM59 Digital TENS device for light to moderate massage & relaxation in conjunction with the heat option is also a real bonus to us.... hence the title of this review. I still can't turn it up very high, but the TENS and even the EMS modes really relax the muscles that are tensed up from the pain.I have tried it in several places on my back and have been impressed with the intuitive display and controls. I expected to be checking the little book every time I needed to change something, but the screen includes about all I need to know. The gel pads are the only part I am worried about. Right now, they do not have the replacements available but the original ones are doing pretty good after a half dozen uses.I wish I could use this all day long, it really did make a big difference in my back.
