Beurer MG206 Shiatsu Massage Seat Cover

It has what feels like a solid metal plate at the back with two little elastic corners to (assumedly) go over your chair of choice, doubling as a hanger. Now I'm all for a hard massage, but this is very hard - so maybe put a jumper between you and rollers if needed - and I put it on my sofa-recliner (bear in mind I'm still reading the instructions, so that may not actually be ok to do). I am very surprised at the punch it packs, I honestly thought it would be quite weak, being so small, so I was stoked with the result. Don't recommend holding a coffee though, when the rotors went over my shoulders I spilt a bit on myself lol. The heat is in the rotors not the butt-part, which was a pleasant surprise. The remote is easy to use without any instructions, very clear... and I don't want to leave my seat because it's so warm and it's Winter at time of writing :)

Age wearied them

I bought this as a gift for my father who is 86 years old and is fairly active. He also makes a lot of noises when he gets up, sits down and moves. I hoped this would help relax his back muscles after gardening. He loves it! He felt much better after using the seat while watching the footy. Unfortunately it was so good that he encouraged my 84 year old mother to have a go. She is a much smaller, bonier creature who has had problems with vertebrae before. The shiatsu massage was MUCH too strong for her and caused a lot of pain from the start. She lasted just one minute. Courses for horses I guess. I recommend for the robust user.

Oh my god this product is so amazingly use it every 2nd day because of my back and neck issues and I feel amazing after the 15 minute session, it almost puts me to sleep because I feel so relaxed and I can feel the pain just being taken away from my body. I'm amazed at how good I feel, I don't go to the Physio any more since buying this massager.

Easy to put on seat, choose your settings whether for lower/upper back or both . Up to 15minutes of massage and heating. It Would be amazing to go even further to neck and head.

Exactly what I was after

Excellent buy, does the job. Gets in the shoulder muscles well unlike more expensive massagers. Quite a strong massage so definitely not for the weak.

Great value for money - works well

We looked at the $399 model first of all and decided on this one at $149. We felt it did a better job! Heating feature is nice and comforting. Can select to massage either top half of back or lower half, or both together. Goes for approx 10-15 minutes per session. Gives a good massage and gets into knots really well. Needs a seat with a high back to attach to for best results. We are very happy with it.

I have tested 2 different Shiatsu massagers/chairs at home extensively both were very different and my advice would be to test the massager before you buy (if at all possible, but it is difficult on-line) because they do differ immensely. THis compared to the Homedics one is by far the better of the two.It features 3 types of massaging. Shiatsu, rolling and spot. The main massage I use is shiatsu, it suits me best. I like the addition of heat, it helps to relax as I find I get a cold shoulder and neck which I think is due to poor circulation - ergo why I bought the massage cover.I like the colour, it is mid brown and matches my furniture, a black one would have been too oppressive for me. The seat itself is lovely, a welcome relaxing bonus after a long day. One of the most used gifts I've purchased!

An unbeatable product for the pricing and purpose! It was purchased as a gift with a spending limit in mind and yet the product doesn't sacrifice quality for being on the cheaper spectrum of massage seats. The material withholds, it's utilised both for an office setting and post workout use of which it targets the knots every time and if not within the first 15 minute round then it does in the next! My partner has never had so much use out of a gift, definitely a worthy buy especially with the prompt delivery!

Works better than I expected!!!

I purchased this for my husbands office chair and as he is a larger man I was concerned it wouldnt be powerful enough. Its amazingly powerful and he loves it..

great affordable massage chair

Does everything it says it will and provides a good, sturdy massage. Does not have an option to change the firmness like some other in this range but not a huge issue
