Obviously the person who gave this book 1 star didn't even read it. If you don't know who Peterson is, read his books and hear him speak before forming an opinion. This is exactly what I did as a female who only heard negative things about him and discovered I was only being fed lies. The ones who talk trash about him are people that do not want to take any responsibility for their lives and expect the rest of us to take care of them and their burden while they cry about being "victims". Take control of your life and accept your responsibility, learn to accept the burden of Being. Interesting read. I'm glad I put the release date on my calendar as a reminder. I enjoyed this book because Jordan Peterson is a great speaker. He communicates what others are thinking but have difficulty expressing, and does not back down from a difficult conversation. As honesty and logic are no longer the headlines in America, we need more people publicly speaking up with honesty and logic the way Jordan Peterson does.
this guy is awesome. I don't enjoy it as much as his last, but it is still 5 stars. I'm enjoying chapters 8&9 immensely at the moment (relistening to the 8th with my dad as I read the 9th). I will say he could do a way better job with references in this book. very dissapointing. but it's ok! the world needs JBP. ❤️
Having read an early copy of this book I am purchasing another to give to someone who is part of my American Dream. This book has great advice for investing and living your own American Dream with strategies to implement what you learn.
This book is honestly fantastic. Take your time to read the book. I would recommmend reading 1 rule at a time, reflecting and then continuing.I have read Dr Peterson's previous work, and this by far is the most digestible. I found this book insightful, helpful and filled with practicable pieces of advice. This book has heaps of the content that he's spoken about in his lectures.Anyway, enjoy. This is a good read. I absolutely will reread this.
