The touchscreen display with built-in computer allows you to set the temperature in both boilers, the pre-infusion time, the cleaning programme or the automatic switching on and off of the coffee machine. Bezzera accessories A wide range of accessories is included. In the package you will find two levers with baskets - for single and double, a blind basket or a brush for cleaning the head. On our coffee blog you will find a comparison of the Bezzera Duo with the Lelit Bianca and the ECM Synchronika.

Absolutely love the Bezzera Duo MN. I upgraded to this machine because I wanted something that was reliable, beautiful and allowed me to enjoy the manual settings of a machine. The maintenance reminders are so helpful. Its an extremely easy and straight forward machine to use and to maintain. Best money spent in a long time

The short answer: 100% satisfied. Since buying this machine, I have no desire to buy drinks at cafes any more. Unless it's a top-tier specialty shop, I can tell that my drinks are better. The results are definitely better than my previous machines. When I taste pure espresso, it's very often too bitter or too sour. The goal is to extract in-between those two ranges, which is where the flavor comes out. The steamed milk hides bitterness and sourness, but the drink is far better when the espresso is brewed perfectly. That's what a machine like this is all about... hitting that sweet spot, and delivering milk that's perfectly steamed, without being just hot milk or stiff foam.I owned a Pavoni Europiccola, a Nespresso, and most recently a Breville espresso machine, and ... I wanted something which would create no-compromise espresso, with excellent milk steaming and high quality. I wanted the appearance of the Italian E61 machines. Still, I found that choosing among so many machines is difficult and confusing. The prices of the E61 machines were about $1,700 for a heat exchange model and about $2,500~$3,200 for a dual boiler. That's a big difference, but the dual boiler machines offer a lot more: For starters, with a dual-PID, dual boiler, the espresso temperature is perfect. The two boilers hold a lot of water at the correct temperature, so the stability of those temperatures is outstanding. With a heat exchange machine, especially one like the Appartmento (which has no PID), you can get overheating or fluctuations.Another advantage with the dual boiler machines is that most of them have a rotary pump, which means they can be plumbed in. Not a big deal? Well, it's a big deal if you've weighed/ground/distributed/tamped your shot and you run out of water in the middle of pulling that shot. And if you've ever spilled a drip tray of water on your kitchen floor, that's also a big deal. It's very nice if you can do it, like the convenience of an automatic ice maker/water dispenser in your fridge. If you've decided to take the plunge for a device at this level, there are a lot of choices, such as ECM Synchronika, Profitec, Crem, Rocket and Lelit Bianca. So why am I so happy with this one?First off, the Duo MN is considerably less expensive than all of the others, except for Profitec. Not only that, but the touchscreen display is unique and extremely useful. In fact, Bezzera uses this display system on their professional cafe models as well. Only by using this machine can you appreciate how much thought Bezzera put into this display system: While I'm pulling a shot, it's a shot timer, and a big one at that. It also shows me both boiler temperatures and the pressure in real-time, and it shows me whether one of the boilers is heating or ready. You can tap either temperature to adjust the temperature and the pre-infusion time. I can also program the machine to wake and sleep on a schedule. The touchscreen feature is very underrated; it is fantastic. By the way, I operate this machine so that both boilers can heat simultaneously, which can draw over 15 Amps, but I've never had a problem. Although WholeLatteLove recommends recommends operating the boilers so that they heat separately (which you set with the touchscreen), the machine can recover faster with simultaneous operation. You just need a dedicated circuit, preferably a 20A circuit (15A is standard in most cases in the US).Having used this touchscreen, it is not a gimmick; it is very useful. Other advantages of this machine are the included wood accents; most brands charge even more for the wood accents. Overall, the construction quality and performance are fantastic. I've never had a machine that steams milk well, but this machine doesn't just steam milk perfectly, it does it very fast; I can steam enough milk for a cappuccino in about ten seconds, and it's perfect milk, I can make latte art with it... it's much better than the milk frother I had before or the attachment I used with the Pavoni. If you haven't steamed milk before, or if you failed at it before, you'll find that with this machine, it's very easy to get perfect milk every time.Lastly, some machines in this category (well... the Lelit Bianca) offer flow profiling. That is not a feature I'm interested in right now, but I might want it later if my skills improve. My understanding is that E61 machines can be upgraded to add the flow profiling feature, but I'm going to wait and possibly upgrade later. It's still less expensive to buy this machine and add a flow profiling valve later.

Each pull yields a body of flavor that is amazing. Powerful steam. Digital display is very informative and easy to use. When combined with a good grinder, the Bezzera Duo is an absolute joy. Manual translated into English was lacking on clarity on how auto on/off setting functions after programming. But intuition ruled the day and love how it is ready to go each morning.
I've had my Bezzera Duo MN now for about a week. What an amazing machine, great design, very quiet with the rotary pump, quick to heat both boilers and produces great coffee. I like the "old style" E61 group head with the modern electronic gauges. I had a Breville dual boiler (BES920XL) since 2016 but had constant breakdowns and its now becoming difficult to find replacement parts. I'm so pleased I've upgraded to the Bezzera Duo MN. I'm hoping for years of great coffee and no annoying breakdowns!
The Duo MN replaced a breville BES920XL that was 5 years old and developed leaks and damaged microprocessor board that breville could not replace. The Duo MN is the best of old meets new. you get very good Italian build quality, and nice wood accents. the plumbed drip tray is great; and the plumbed water line keeps you from having to constantly refill the water tank, which got tiresome after a while (Breville had an easy access flip top). Shot pulling is of course great, and with all this, you get an easy to use LCD that gives you the ability to customize to your heart's content. we expect the Duo MN to be a valuable member of the family for a very long time.
Great machine! Wife and neighbors love it! Easy to work straight out of the box. Customer service at Whole Latte Love are very helpful! Looks sharpe in place!
I have bought what is probably the last machine of my life. My previous one I bought used and, with regular maintenance, it lasted 15 years until I left it plumbed into the house I sold last summer. I researched machines for a long time before deciding on the Bezzera Duo and then saved for it (it was more than I had originally budgeted). The Duo is beautifully machined. Just look at the chassis underneath the drip tray to see the quality. The features available through the touch screen such as scheduling on/off, maintenance reminders, being able to dial in the brew head and steamer temperatures are amazing. It is by far the quietest machine I’ve ever used. It took me a week or so to dial in my grinder, but I am now consistently pulling 1:2 ratio espressos in 30 ... Oh, and on a purely aesthetic level, the rosewood handles are a nice touch of luxury.Next week I’m moving into a new house where I plan to plumb it in. This will make this already fantastic machine just that much better.I expect this machine will last 30 years. Let’s hope I do too.
Paul at Clive Coffee was outstanding and patient in answering my questions and helping to choose among all of the different machines they offer. Paul helped me understand that the move expensive dual boiler machines offer more consistent espresso quality and are worth the added expense, and being plumbable is a real plus. When I looked at the dual boiler machines in their shop, they had several, including La Marzocco, Lelit Bianca, Rocket, Profitec and ECM. Visually, I felt that the Bezzera is a real stand out. I love the gorgeous chrome finish and the included olive wood accents on the portafilters and knobs, and the touchscreen makes the Bezzera a one of a kind. I love the gorgeous chrome finish and the included olive wood accents on the portafilters and knobs, and the touchscreen makes the Bezzera a one of a kind. I know that there are "purists" who think the machines should have the steampunk look of a 1925 typewriter, but the touchscreen display is very beautiful, and it's incredibly useful. On any other machine, you either don't get the information, or you need to use a smartphone app, or decode cryptical dots and lights. Honestly.... all of those solutions are a lot worse. Besides, Bezzera is the original Milan, Italy espresso machine maker, since 1901. They are the authentic, real deal in espresso machines. For starters, the touchscreen lets you easily configure the On/Off timer, so the machine is warmed up every morning. No secret code, no bluetooth app, no programmable power switch. It's just right there, easy as pie. And you can see the temperature of the brew and steam boilers, whether the boilers are full, and their pressure, right from that screen. I can change the brew and steam boiler temperatures from that screen, run cleaning flushes from it, program cleaning reminders, and more. When I brew espresso, it turns into a shot timer. Doing all this stuff using an external phone app or a plug-in screen is not as good, and the screen isn't very big; the steampunk Italian design is still there, in all its chrome-plated glory.Using this machine is pure joy. It is available with the standard E61 or the Bezzera group head. The E61 is the "classic" design, and you use a manual lever to start and end your shot. with the Bezzera group head, it's electrically pre-heated, which is admittedly better, and you use electronic buttons which dose a selected amount of water for the shot. The Bezzera head is better if others who will use the machine don't want to be bothered with starting and stopping the brew; they just push a button and get their shot, but you can still manually start and stop the brew if you want.Mine is the E61-based MN model, and the espresso flavor is just indescribable. I just LOVE having my morning coffee now!The machine also has no problem steaming milk. It's very powerful, and after some effort, I'm able to draw flowers and hearts onto the top of my cappuccino. It took me time and I'm still working on my steaming and pouring techniques, but of course the flavor is always great.Along with this machine, Clive sold me a wonderful tamping station called the Block Party, which beautifully matches the machine, as well as a set of cappuccino cups which optimize the latte art. I truly cannot recommend this machine enough.
This is a very nice machine and makes excellent drinks.Metal finish is top knotch and the wood accents are nice and solid. I like the fact that the wood is unfinished thus giving you some grip. The display is nice and the functions are easy to use. However, the digital representation of group and boiler pressures are nice but need a bit of a rethink. It is hard to read and the indicator does not move smoothly and bounces with no real resolution. I would change the meter function to a rising and or falling "sweep" rather than an "hash" indicator. That would be brilliant and the icing on the cake (and I do like cake). One other gripe is that when using Fahrenheit as your temperature designation of choice, you can only adjust in increments of two degrees. I am not too sure why and I find this quite odd. These little details are not deal breakers for me but knocks it down to a 4 star instead of a 5 star top shelf product. The included 2 portafilters are nice touch and the ability to purchase a bottomless is excellent. However, what's with the plastic tamp? The little details are important in a top self unit. A beautifully crafted brewer should come with equally beautiful accessories.
