(6,594 reviews)

A classic round pacifier Blush/Ivory in a timeless design. Designed and made in Denmark. BIBS COLOUR has been on the market for over 40 years – an all-time favourite! BIBS COLOUR is the preferred pacifier for many children because of the cherry shaped nipple. The shape of both shield and nipple is like a mother’s breast and is the optimal support for a natural sucking reflex and for breastfeeding. The nipple is made of 100% natural rubber latex – which is soft and flexible. The nipple is equipped with a vent hole, letting out the air to make the teat shape as natural as possible. Because of the natural material, variations in colour and clearness may occur – remember to replace within 4-6 weeks of regular use! The shield is convex which allows airflow to ventilate the delicate baby skin. The shield is made of polypropylene (PP), a very light plastic material with high strength, and is very wear resistant.

First and foremost, I would feel comfortable recommending these to other parents. The colors are not super exciting, but they do seem fairly gender neutral, so they seem
like an easy choice to buy for anyone else’s baby as a gift. The quality of the pacifier seems sturdy enough. I usually prefer to purchase pacifiers that are one piece entirely

The pacifiers are also free from harmful substances such as BPA, PVC, and phthalates, providing peace of mind for parents like me! Regarding the shape and size, I found them to be just right for my 13-month-old. The round shape allows for easy placement in his mouth, and the size 2 provided a comfortable fit without any issues. The handle was convenient for removal or attachment to pacifier clips. Overall, I highly recommend the BIBS Color Anatomical Nipple Latex Pacifiers for 6-18 months, Size 2. They are loved by little ones, have an appealing design, boast excellent quality, and offer a shape and size that provides comfort. Having used another style of Bibs (and having researched them prior to my initial purchase), I knew what we were getting was a high quality product with a cute and classic design — from the packaging to the product itself — after all, they are raved about by parents around the globe because of their quality and design! My baby had previously been taking the Bibs silicone and natural rubber round nipple pacifiers so I was anxious to try the anatomical nipple with him since it is highly recommended in the orthodontic world. As a pediatric nurse and lactation professional, who is also a busy breastfeeding mom of 3, I find proper oral development and seamless transition from pacifier to breast to be important. The size of this 0-6 month pacifier is perfect for my average sized 3 month old. The shape is curved at the top with an angled tip. The curved top provides a natural fit to the palate and promotes tongue cupping around the nipple, like it does during breastfeeding. The angled tip helps baby to not need to suck as hard, compared to a round nipple, for the pacifier to flatten inside the mouth. Lucky for me, he will happily take either nipple shape. His material preference is definitely the natural rubber, which seems much softer and closer to the feel of the breast than the silicone. These pacifiers have saved me from being used as a pacifier many times! Even though these cannot be sterilized in the microwave, they are easy enough to clean and scald — another thing that sold me on these pacifiers! Pros: -high quality -classic, simple, cute design -soft natural rubber material that is 100% free from BPA, PVC and phthalates -air holes allow skin to breathe, lessening skin irritation -wide range of colors -orthodontist recommended shape Cons: -natural rubber breaks down and becomes sticky over time with normal use -water accumulates in the nipple when cleaning -more expensive than other popular pacifiers... One of my dogs managed to get ahold of the sage pacifier, and I thought they had probably done the usual to it. To my surprise, I eventually found the nipple completely unscathed and the shield chewed out and flattened, but it appeared to be mostly intact. I worry about my dogs choking on pacifiers, so the fact that they did not swallow big pieces of it when they got it is actually a plus for me. My little one seems to enjoy the pacifier just as much their normal pacifiers. One thing I’ve noticed is that they seemed to enjoy pulling the nipple out of their mouth so that they can chew on the shield, making it a two in one pacifier/teether. I really like that the pacifier’s nipple has the natural shape. My baby doesn’t live with a pacifier in their mouth but I still worry about pacifiers that potentially could alter my baby’s palate. The shield is a good size as well, with decently sized air holes for ease of breathing. A personal preference of mine is to get pacifiers that are one piece, so it’s less places for liquid to potentially get trapped in the pacifier, but these seemed relatively easy to clean. I was given this pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.... Show more

Great Product But Fades Quickly
2 July 2023
My daughter is 7 mo old and has a love/hate relationship with pacifiers. When the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent us the Bibs Colourpop Glow pacifiers, I wasn’t sure if she’d want them, but she actually did! She had a very easy time picking up and maneuvering the pacifier as she wanted; and I think she really liked the feel of the rubber latex, because she continued to go for the pacifier even if she wasn’t teething/upset (VERY soft nipple—I can see how this would be great for newborns). I like the design of the shield, how it curves away from the face—I did notice less irritation that other brands that curve with the face, despite it being less comfy should the child fall asleep with it. I also really appreciate the brand’s ethics and sustainability and charity ... MoreMy daughter is 7 mo old and has a love/hate relationship with pacifiers. I also really appreciate the brand’s ethics and sustainability and charity efforts—I’ll definitely be buying other products from them. The only issue I had with these specific pacifiers is that they’re supposed to glow in the dark. My oldest used glow in the dark pacifiers from a different brand when he was an infant, and they legitimately saved my sanity and helped me avoid many sleep-deprived meltdowns. These Bibs pacifiers, however, didn’t glow as well as the brand I’ve used previously. The instructions said to place the paci in light for five seconds to get 8 hours of luminescence. I placed them under my phone’s flash for about a minute. The immediate glow is great. Two hours later, they were still glowing, but had greatly dimmed. When I awoke for another feed a couple hours after that, I couldn’t even tell the pacifiers were on my bedside table. Our door is open a crack to let some hallway light in. This brightens it JUST enough to see while doing night feeds. Perhaps these pacifiers would have glowed better if the room was completely black, as I could still see a faint glow if I held one under my sheets; but I’d still expect a better, longer lasting effect if I’m going to spend the extra money for it. I still loved and would recommend the pacifier itself, I’d just choose a different product if the glow is a dealbreaker. As the product is advertised as glow in the dark and priced higher as such, I feel the need to take away two stars.... Show more

High quality paci that gets the job done!
12 March 2023
The overall look of the Bibs Colour Latex Pacifier - 6-18 months- 2 pack has a very clean and smooth modern design. The overall construction of the pacifier is unique, especially in the way that the latex nipple is attached to the plastic base. The plastic base of the pacifier and the latex nipple are both thick and sturdy, and appear to be very good quality. The latex nipple is thick enough that sharp baby teeth won’t chew through it, but flexible enough to be easily sucked. The Bib’s latex nipple flattens out when inserted into the mouth and sucked on. This feature is actually important to me because my son's current pacifier (not Bibs) is changing the shape of the roof of his mouth. A little background information might be helpful here: He currently uses a pacifier that looks like an elongated nipple and is cylindrical in shape. Because that has been his preferred pacifier, the roof of his mouth is actually forming to the shape of the other pacifier’s nipple. The Bibs pacifier offers an alternative nipple shape that is similar enough to my son’s prior pacifier so that he will still accept it, but different enough that it hopefully doesn’t contribute to the issue with his palette. Because the Bib’s flattens when sucked, it seems like it will offer an alternative shape, and potentially help with his already elongated and narrow palette. It’s a little too soon to tell, but it seems promising! I was worried that he wouldn't like the Bibs pacifier due to the difference in nipple shape (his other pacifier looks like an elongated nipple), but he easily accepted the Bibs pacifier. Sometimes he even chooses the Bibs over his other pacifier when given the choice between the two! My son also likes to play with the “handle” on the Bibs pacifier because it makes a soft clicking noise that he seems to like. The overall shape and size of the Bibs pacifier are a perfect fit for my 15 month old’s face and mouth. Overall I’m impressed with the product’s good quality. And my son uses the Bibs pacifier regularly to self-soothe. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this pacifier to test and review!... Show more

My son's favorite pacifier!
4 April 2024
My 5 month old LOVES this pacifier. He is exclusively breastfeed so it was important to us to find a brand that also used the same nipple for bottles to make the eventual transition from bottle to breast easier. I like the rubber nipple, neutral colors and handle of the pacifier as it can easily attach to a pacifier clip and thus far the nipple has been easy for my baby to use and has not caused nipple confusion during breastfeeding. The shield shape of the pacifier did not necessarily keep my newborn's skin drier but it is ergonomic enough for him to find and manipulate back to his mouth which is helping his hand eye coordination. Only Pacifier My Daughter Likes
25 September 2024
From birth, my daughter wasn’t a fan of pacifiers. We’ve tried several different brands and shapes with no luck. I decided to purchase this one as a last ditch effort and surprisingly enough, she seems to kinda like it. We tried the 0-3 month BIBS pacifier which was a veto but I think because the bulbous portion on this size (6 months) is further back in the mouth it makes a difference in enjoyment for her. She is currently 3.5 months so for safety reasons, I do not suggest using this on a younger baby unless providing supervision. The packaging and colors of both pacifiers are exceptionally cute. They look very chic and love how convenient the glow in the dark feature is! Overall, I would recommend this product! Very Big Glow
30 June 2023
These Bibs Glow in the Dark Latex Pacifiers that I received thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel look very much identical to the standard Bibs pacifiers I am used to, and even the glow in the dark handle is barely noticeable as being glow in the dark (usually there is an obvious pale/hot green tinge to objects that are glow in the dark), appearing more like a cream white, until you get it into the actual dark and even then the glow is considerably faint unless it’s right in front of your face. I think the matte sage green and pale cerulean blue colors of the pacifiers I received however were very pretty. I couldn’t find any instructions with the pacifiers explaining any specific usage for them on any of the included paperwork in the packaging, so I didn’t know whether the pacifiers needed to first be “charged” next to a light prior to really getting a good glow out of them. Unfortunately, about a week before I received the pacifiers, my almost 5 month old baby boy found his thumb and quickly learned to self-soothe by thumb sucking. Try as I might, he would consider but spit out the pacifier over and over. I tried for about 2 if not 3 weeks. I would keep one in his crib next to him or start the night out with it in his mouth. He would keep it in, consider it for about a minute, then spit it out and pop his thumb in! I hoped I’d catch him on camera seeing the glow and curiously grabbing to explore it but no such luck. It’s a shame he didn’t take to these pacifiers because they appear to be of very good quality, feel sturdy, and look to be made with solid materials that won’t bend or break easily. As I wrote this review I decided to give charging one a try and let the flashlight of my phone shine on it for a couple of minutes—MAN did it glow!! What a difference from NOT charging it! I’m gonna keep trying now that I see these are actually meant to be changed and are way more effective when this is done. I really wish this was specified in the instructions! This actually raised my rating by a star, and I’ll come back to give 5 stars if this big glow entices my baby enough to choose to try to take and use these pacis now!... Show more

Worth the price!
26 May 2023
My recently turned one year old still uses a pacifier, and out of all the pacis we’ve tried, these are the ones we’ve religiously used since he was a few months old. They come in many beautiful dusty neutrals which I appreciate as modern and aesthetically pleasing options are a big selling point for me. I dress him in earthy tones a lot and these colors match his outfits well, so much so that not only do I leave them in for pictures, I many times use them as a prop because they fit our vibe so well. I like that they come in a convenient 2 pack as we always have to have back ups. The glow in the dark feature is pretty awesome and they charge super fast in the sun and provide a BRIGHT glow which is another selling point for me because my baby can easily find them ... MoreMy recently turned one year old still uses a pacifier, and out of all the pacis we’ve tried, these are the ones we’ve religiously used since he was a few months old. The glow in the dark feature is pretty awesome and they charge super fast in the sun and provide a BRIGHT glow which is another selling point for me because my baby can easily find them during night wakings and soothe himself back to sleep. The big ring easily attaches to any paci clip. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the materials used with baby’s safety in mind. I also appreciate that they are bulb shaped and vented to flatten when sucking for minimizing orthodontic impact and they come in 2 sizes for smaller/bigger babies for the same reason. The natural rubber is soft and high quality and my baby prefers the texture over silicone. The only “drawbacks” (I say that because they are not at all a deterrent from buying for us) would be the price point, they are on the pricier end, and how quickly/often you have to replace them as they are natural rubber and stretch. The recommended replacement time is 4 - 6 weeks. Sometimes baby will also develop a preference for the bigger more stretched out paci if you go beyond this timeframe without replacing. I’ve heard of babies refusing the new pacis but that’s more along the lines of user error in my opinion. It has happened to us and my baby was just a little off put but at least he didn’t outright reject it. If this is a deal breaker I’d recommend silicone instead. But for me, the brand’s longevity and commitment to quality is immediately apparent in the packaging, branding, etc as it is all cohesive and feels premium and is well worth it to me. I trust this brand over others and will continue to repurchase these as the many pros far outweigh any cons in my opinion. I was given this pacifier to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.... Show more
