I don't usually sleep very well when backpacking. I never had a pillow. Wow!! What a huge difference the Big Agnes made!! Slept like a rock! It doesn't even make my backpack heavier! Worth it!

I recently tried this pillow on an weekend away on my small sailboat. I bought it to replace a similar pillow from another company. It packs small and is light, but I did not find it comfortable at all. To be clear, there is nothing wrong with the pillow - the size was perfect, it's soft, it inflates very quickly; it just wasn't a good fit for me. I found the dimples to be too deep and in odd places, and I often found myself shifting it around throughout the night trying to find a good fit. I read other reviews before I bought it, and people seemed to really like it, so I presume it is just a bad fit for me.
I am fly fishing, camping, rafting guide, spending over 40 nights a year sleeping out for the last 30 years. I have found the Big Agnes sleep systems to be the very best for getting a decent night's sleep - including details like this pillow! The pillow fits neatly into the built in pouch in the sleeping bag, and the bag's pad sleeve prevents rolling off the pad for us restless sleepers! Very well thought out and engineered. Pillow height is a personal preference, easily adjusted by putting the next morning's clothes between the pillow and the pad (I usually use a puffy, then it's handy for cooler Colorado mornings.Speaking of well thought out - Thanks you Big Agnes for making sure that all your products fit nicely into their included stuff sacks! It is what it says it is...a comfortable pillow that does a great job keeping the head warm on cool nights. I'm ready to test it below 40°, but so far, so good!
Extremely small and light travel pillow. It's nice and soft and seems to keep my head in place when laying on my back. It is a bit low for side sleeping but you can throw a rolled up shirt underneath to give it a boost.
