Bio-Oil Natural Body Oil 200ml

I really appreciate the packaging that this Bio-Oil comes in. I've used other oils before that come in pump bottles and all they do is drip and make a mess. This doesn't do that because it comes in a squeezable bottle with a dropper and to dispense the oil you tip the bottle and squeeze your desired amount out. The oil itself has a thin consistency and even though it's an oil it's doesn't really feel greasy like an oil to me. I like to mix a few drops of Bio-Oil in with my favourite body moisturiser and apply it to my body after a shower. It absorbs almost instantly and leaves no residue whatsoever. After using this natural Bio-Oil for a few weeks now my skin is no longer scaly or flaky in the areas it was before. Whilst I haven't yet noticed a reduction in the appearance or any scars or stretch marks that I have I'm certainly enjoying the hydrating benefits that I'm getting and it's also a really good oil to apply to the heels of your feet too as it's been keeping mine smooth and soft. Would I buy this again? Yes I would. I'm not too fussed about my stretch marks or scars. I've had them for years. I just really love how hydrating this is and my skin is loving it. I'm so thankful to have been given the opportunity to trial this as I've certainly discovered a wonderful product which my skin has benefited greatly from.

I am someone who has very dry skin and have had eczema my whole life and this oil has been a great addition to my skin care routine. At night I also focused the application of this oil on my knees and elbows, as these are the places I get especially dry. I think this oil would be amazing in winter when my skin is particularly dry, especially when mixed with a thicker moisturiser. I do not have any noticeable scars and so cannot say whether this product would help in reducing the appearance of scars. I would also recommend applying the oil straight after the shower, on damp skin, as it will absorb into the skin even more quickly alongside some of the water on the skin, which will make the skin even more hydrated and moisturised. I have tried this product on my face and enjoyed using it as a last step in my night time skincare routine. I felt like it locked in the moisture of the products underneath and left my skin very soft the next morning. I would only recommend doing this at night, however, as it can feel a little heavy on top of my, already rich and monitoring, skin care products. I do have some redness on my face and didn't notice that this oil helped even out my skin tone, however, I have not used it on my face many times. I would be interested to see if more consistent use resulted in a more even skin tone on my face. It should also be noted that I have very sensitive skin and have not found this oil to cause any irritation on my face or body. I also think it's important to mention the subtle but very pleasant scent, which is reminiscent of essential oils. I do not believe this scent is a result of additional fragrance, rather it is a natural scent produced by the combination oils in the product. I also really appreciate that because this product is formulated with all natural products, it is more gentle on sensitive skin. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to others, especially those with dry skin or stretch marks that they would like to reduce the appearance of! I don't think there's much else I could say, just that this is a new favourite product to use on my ever-dry skin.

Not results I expected

I started using this in January on fresh stretch marks along side another cream. I am a realistic about promises on results but considering the reviews and cost I'm quite disappointed. I have been using it twice a day, taking time to message it in and the stretch marks have darkened, gotten bigger and more have appeared.I have researched the processes of stretch marks and far as I'm aware the reddish/purple colour is the early stage so I'm unsure whether they have been looking worse as they are still in the process of becoming visible or wether this product is litterly doing nothing at all. (Best to do your own research incase those ingredients aren't suitable for yourself).
