Great vanilla taste. Let’s be honest, it does not taste like natural vanilla, more of an artificial taste, but it still is the right amount of sweet and most of all, it has no chemical / whey aftertaste which is great.It blends very well in liquid, no lumps - and the composition and macros are great. Additionally, Biochem is 3rd party tested for heavy metals and harmful components.On the pricier side but well worth it.

After hours of researching online, I found that this is the best product out in the market in terms of purity, price/quality (you get what you pay for). My research are never base on fitness commercial magazines or websites (e.g. Men's health), not that they wrong, but we know that this is an industry and we don't know the article's real purposes behind. My research are base on university studies or non commercial test result laboratories. Good taste, not amazing but if you mix it with soy milk, milk, rice milk is much much better. If you are looking for a protein shake that contains only protein, no vitamins, fat burners, etc, this is the right product.

I bought this powder instead of Solgar Whey because that one was out of stock and this showed good contents without additives. The main difference is that this one has stevia, so when I take 30-40 grams of protein, it's very very sweet. As a liquid sweet dessert, it's kinda good. I recommend Solgar Whey To Go Vanilla if you want the same result, but no sweetness.
I have tried many protein products and I always return to this one. I am sticking to Biochem and stopped looking for another source with higher protein content. I have used this brand exclusively for the last year.Why?It does not upset my stomach. Most of the other product upset my stomach. Not this one.Mixes very easily.Grass fed cows. This is an excellent choice for a whey isolate. I have tried many others from well known vitamin and health food sellers. This one's performance didn't disappoint! I shook it up with OJ and some half and half for a smoothie. No need for a blender. Very tasty!
Product is claimed to have passed all heavy metals including Aresenic so was one of my top picks to try. I use 2 scoops with purified water and 2 tbsp. of coconut cream and blend in a blender. I do not recommend using the coconut, which I LOVE if you do not want the meat to be on the top of the drink but to me it's a treat and I like it. Going to actually add this to my morning coffee as well for a rich creamy smooth cuppa and of course with 1 tbsp. of coconut cream! YUM! Not sweet to me but I use water.....
I have been using Biochem for several years. I took the Ultimate Protein System (UPS) which has been discontinued. I was not a happy camper! They did NOT need to change the product. UPS was good for Seniors and I have felt a difference since the change. This is a new product almost the same as UPS. It does not have Magnesium (68mg) Manganese (0.5mg) Zinc (as zinc oxide 5mg) and Chromium picolinate (102mcg) and fibers. So, I am introducing these minerals into my diet with higher doses. I do not like adding more to my supplements, just trying it out!!? I put it into my fruit smoothie daily and I look forward to my breakfasts. It blends well and has a good vanilla taste. I used this product every day for several weeks, and it seemed to really make my blood sugar spike. I just couldn't stop eating after having taken it, despite protein usually being quite filling and satisfying. I've already lost some weight now that I've stopped using it. Also, while it apparently contains only natural flavouring, it smells so strongly of vanilla that my entire kitchen cabinet smelled of it, even with the lid of the container closed! Eew. And finally, I felt the stevia meddled with my taste, but it's too early after quitting the product to know whether that was really the case.
This is the best tasting protein shake that Ive tried, and have been using it for more than 5 years. Vanilla and Choco are the best but if you just want the best dissolving powder this is it. I recommend adding some milk for extra creaminess or just plain room temperature water with a vigorous shake to feed your body with immediate protein after your workout.
