I came across this cleanser after having success with Mustela Stelatopia Cleansing baby oil. Atoderm is more cost friendly and equally effective. Two things I would like to mention (1) It does not sting when using over the eyes but it does feel unusual and I would not put in on my children’s eye, it may cause my 4 year old to complain that it irritates. (2) This does have a light delicate fragrance, some eczema prone individual’s have sensitivity to fragrance and it can flare up the skin. My children have so far not had this issue as they have had with other fragrant products. My skin had been dry, scaly, itching and burning for a couple of years. I had tried EVERY soap, body wash and everything you can imagine for sensitive skin with no help. I used this shower oil and within literally 3 days my skin felt so much better. It did take a few months for the patches and burning to go away but they did eventually go away completely. I recommend this stuff to everyone. I do however wish the fragrance free option was still available. The fragrance doesn't bother me but I imagine that it would someone who has fragrance allergies. It is more expensive than I'd like to pay but the bottle is huge and lasts a long time so for me it's definitely worth it given that my skin is 100% better.

For being an oil it does not get everywhere or make a mess in the shower. I'm always worried using an oil in the shower that I will slip, this was not the case at all. The oil cleaned my skin effectively and rinsed off cleanly. I am still a bit confused as to when to use this product in the shower however. There aren't any directions on the product itself so I used it after using my regular body wash, basically as somewhat of a double cleanse. I immediately bought it because it was the brand the doctor had recommended and I saw that it was a cleansing oil which has worked very well for me in the past. It doesn't have a lot of lather but it does the job, rinses clean and when you step out of the shower, the water just drops off you, leaving it easier to dry yourself off without having to rub with towel. This has quickly become my all time favorite Bioderma product. It has been leaving my face feeling perfectly clean, hydrated and GLOWING. Also incredibly soft. I have been using this to take off face sunscreen which can be a tough job and it is working perfectly. I massage some of the oil directly onto my dry face and work into a lather briefly which starts lifting the sunscreen, then I wet my hands and continue to lather. Then I wipe it all off with a wet cloth or cotton pad. It only takes 2 minutes to get all the sunscreen off - so fast and easy!

The slight fresh sent was momentarily pleasant but not lingering to interfere in use of my regular fragrance! Personally it was not for my facial routine as I have a slight oily complexion? Was recommended this cleansing oil by a pharmacist in Shoppers. I was currently having an extreme full body eczema flare up, as it is winter dry and very dry in Alberta. This cleansing oil feels silky soft in the shower and has dramatically improved my flare up. For anyone else who suffers from eczema, watch out for shampoo that might be irritating on your skin.
I used the Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil for the first time today, and my skin felt immediately soothed. It was so amazing I wanted to keep using it! I was amazed at how nicely it rinsed off as well, while still leaving me feeling soft and soothed. This feels like a gift from God and a miracle product. I feel pretty. The scent is beautiful, and my skin is calm and comfortable. It was excellent for shaving as well. I loved it so much I used it in my face too!I have inverse psoriasis and autoimmune issues and I’ve given up on soaps and cleansers. This is a dream come true!
