This one is very interesting and I already feel that my gut and digestion is better and I will definetelj order again. L. reuteri seems to be very promising bacteria for general health and so many reasons you can search for the research done. As I understand this BioGaia from Sweden is at the moment one of the best choices of reuteri bacteria and the also write the specific strain of the bacteria they use in their products. I have heard that some people use this probiotics also tl create their own reuteri-yoghurt but if you want to try then definetely search for respected sources and talk with your doctor before.

I am very happy with the product. I am feeling the effects and I am planning to keep using it. Package is great. It seems like the company is taking care of all details which could effect the quality of the product. I am also very happy with the delivery, iHerb is very focused on making it's customers happy. It is very complementary with my diet and overall supplements that I am taking. I heard from other people that BioGaia is a gold standard of quality when it comes to this supplement. The Sept 2018 issue of the Journal of Internal Medicine contains an article entitled "Lactobacillus reuteri reduces bone loss in older women with low bone mineral density: a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, clinical trial." Reading the abstract convinced me to add this product to my osteoporosis protocol. Due to its rather expensive price, I don't take it every day--only when I have occasional acid reflux. The constituent enzymes are a whole lot better than calcium carbonate for indigestion.
Design: Desiccator is built-into the top of the cap allowing more room inside the bottle so the tablets do not get crushed in transit OR get crushed by the user trying to get a tablet out by working around one that is in the bottle; it is also removable from the cap is you are not storing it for use later. Product: tablet is easily chewable, but also dissolves under your tongue nicely is you prefer this method. Only been taking it for about 4 days, so can't say it is doing what I want, but it isn't doing anything negative so that's a plus. I ordered 2 bottles so will come back & edit review later on.

So I cut back on the fermentation time to 24 hours and out of 7 jars, 5 actually turned into yogurt. The other 2 were still very milky, so I left them for another 12 hours, but again they just went sour. All of this suggests that BioGaia Gastrus is not a "live" product as claimed. I've used other probiotic tablets to successfully make yogurt, and I've used a Bulgarian culture too. It should be as straight forward as adding the culture to the boiled milk and then setting the timer on the machine. If you are looking for a good quality probiotic tablet/capsule, this is not recommended. Any probiotic having live bacteria should easily make yogurt. I mean, even a few spoonfuls of natural yogurt from a supermarket will do that. It's the problem with an unregulated market, they can make whatever claims they so choose about their product, but I would not say this one is true. They may claim to be "driven by science", but that doesn't mean the culture in their product is actually live. Which is what you need if you expect a result from a probiotic.
I’ve been taking these for a while and can say they’re generally good quality. Taste nice, consistent. If you’re just using the supp and not making yogurt, make sure you take them consistently and give them time to work, as the strength is pretty low.There’s not really much to compare them to on the market. There are other reuteri supplements however, this brand seems to be the only one that combines these two strains. This is really the best pair for general health as I believe these are the two strains that are responsible in the research studies for things like skin health and wound healing, muscle and testosterone improvements, mood improvement via oxytocin production etc.I’ve also successfully used them numerous times to produce beautiful reuteri yogurt.
This is one of the strains to use for the Super Gut Yogurt per Dr William Davis' book Super Gut. It definitely works. The dysbiosis in my gut has balanced out since being on the super gut yogurt after 4 weeks usage only.As feedback, it's better to get tested to find out what strains you actually need. Strains can be tested on a bioresonance scanner, which is what I am doing. If you take probiotics strains that you have enough of it can cause dysbiosis. I didn't need the vital flora that he recommends for those without SIBO.Making probiotic yogurt saves a huge amount of money as you usually only need one capsule per product type to make it.
