Perfect for back up on our cycling tours and walking adventures. I’ve experienced battery failure in remote places and it’s no fun, great slim power bank. Will make the perfect safety net hidden away for emergencies.

Have had several of the older BioLite battery packs and love them ! Was excited for these new ones which supported USC C charging (because almost everyone these days has the new Apple lightening cable), as well as supporting the charging of multiple devices. Unfortunately, in order to re-charge the battery pack you need the specific USB A to USC C cable included with the battery pack. Most other battery packs (such as the older BioLite ones), as well as battery lanterns use a micro charger. Almost everyone in the world has a micro charger for charging various battery items. If the input for re-charging the battery pack would have been a micro charger, it would have been perfect.

Good bridge option for those transition from USB A to C. The C port is both power in and out.Does not have one of those silly power buttons that plague some other power banks. The case is relatively thin and wide as compared to other power banks and at least appears to be fairly rugged. The only con is the relatively small capacity.

Have been looking for a well built yet portable charger that is good for 1 or 2 charges. This seems to fit the bill through my experience so far. This may not be the absolute lightest charger for it’s given output but it is certainly well constructed. USB-C fast charging is a big bonus.
I just started to use my new battery storage device and it worked great the first time (which is so far). I am currently using it for day hikes when I am using a smart phone for its apps, and also a camera. First use: before leaving, I charged the extra battery. Over the day, my phone charge fell to about 65% (and I barely used the camera). In the car instead of plugging the phone into the car's charger, I used the Biolite battery. Over the ~2 hr drive home, it fully charged. Having this unit makes me feel more secure in case of mishaps on my hikes. I imagine the phone's re-charging was slower than a wall power source, but it met my needs and exceeded my expectations. On an off-the-grid trip, I imagine sunny weather would allow producing charge on my little Biolite ... On an off-the-grid trip, I imagine sunny weather would allow producing charge on my little Biolite panel, perhaps even while transferring it to this storage form. The battery can charge my phone, headlight and camera. I like how the various Biolite units can work together for day-trips or when away from the grid longer.
Excellent service, yet again from GPS, delivering this to my door really quickly. Together with the Aquapac this makes a big difference to my Satmap Active 20. Now I don't need to worry about being out on the fells without any power, which is even more important at this time of year. Thanks again to everyone at GPS Training.
Because this is a smaller sized battery, I wasn't expecting it to be so heavy. It works well, but I would have liked two USB-C ports instead of 2 USB-A ports. It's also worth noting that because it uses the USB-C port to charge a device and recharge itself, sometimes it drains devices that have charging ability.
I‘ve got the 20 and the 80 version. Loading my iPhone13 with 1,4A by USB and 1.8A by USB C. Capacity like in the manufactors description. Charge 20 for 1 to 1.5 times and Charge 80 for several loadings. Design and quality of the battery is quite well. The Charge 20 is a lightweight for the pocket, Charge 80 more heavier powercharge for seversl days. Best battery I own an absolutely recommended if you need powersupply!
I purchased this power bank for emergency charges when I travel and backpack. It’s good for one full charge on my phone. It is all I need, but if you have multiple devices and will be without power for a few days, the larger one would be best
This is my first battery pack from Biolite. Its charging time is relatively longer than that from IT accessory firm, e.g. Anker. However, I purchased this as a part of my camping related light/battery items from the same company for future smooth integration with its Stove attached battery charging pack.
