Biona Organic Egg Free Mayonnaise 230g

This is a decent Vegan Mayo substitute but definitely not the best Vegan Mayonnaise substitute on the market as it falls short on the texture which is a little too 'gelatinous' rather than smooth and spreadable. Not the best tasting or attractively prices either but does the job i'd recommend trying if or when it goes on offer. 3/5 Stars

The French should really press for an appellation for mayonnaise. In the classic recipe I was taught, there is no sweetener of any kind! This organic goo just mimics the horrible, sweet, American inspired products on the market.

I have been craving salad cream lately and being vegan this has been a bit of a challenge. Finding a suitable substitute without containing soya or some other rubbish is not easy so when Ocado started to stock this I rejoiced! Not only is this soya free and vegan it's organic and from a trusted brand in the organic market. Oh, and, it tastes delicious of course, very much like the salad cream I was missing, I would say more like salad cream in a jar. Funny the other reviewer found it too sweet as usually I am seriously sensitive to over sweet food but this seems OK to me.
