This organic extra virgin Italian olive oil is outstanding! It has a delicious earthy, fruity, mild peppery flavour and a beautiful golden-green colour - the flavour is exceptional. Glorious drizzled over vegetables, potatoes, couscous, bread and toast, also as a salad dressing. Perfect for stir-frying and sauteing too. Plus is it organic! This organic extra virgin olive oil is superb. It has a delicious mild nutty flavour and a gorgeous golden colour. It tastes divine drizzled over vegetables, couscous, potatoes, bread and toast, and mixed with Raw Health Organic Apple Cider Vinegar or Biona Organic Balsamic Vinegar as a salad dressing. I love that it is organic and single source from Italy, not mixed with olive oils from other countries which many are. Another winner from Biona!

Not overpowering. I tried this on a green salad with some balsamic. Well balanced flavour and the bottle design helps to avoid soggy, drowned salad leaves.
Best pouring top I've ever come across. The flavour is very light & mellow. Would suit someone not too keen on olives. I much prefer an EVO with a deeper stronger flavour.
This olive oil has a fairly delicate flavour, perfect for when you don't want the olive oil to over power other flavours. Prefer this to the regular Biona organic olive oil.
At first taste I was disappointed with this oil, but only because I hadn't realised that it is supposed to be a "mild" one. It says "mild" on the bottle, although you can hardly see this from the picture. But once you realise this, and you stop expecting the more bold flavours, it's a lovely olive oil and pleasantly flavoursome. As you would expect from an oil advertised as 'mild', it lacks any peppery punch or pungent flavours. But it still has a really nice nutty taste, with some green freshness which balances its more buttery flavour. This would be a good drizzling oil for someone who wants quality flavour without any of the peppery, feel-it-up-your-nose aspects. We usually buy our olive oil from a small local producer in Croatia - this we have found is the next best thing: in comparison to the homemade stuff, this tastes just as good and olivey, clearly has a big olive flesh content (try putting it in the fridge and the flesh will separate out), and the bonus is that its organic. Wonderful in a salad but too precious to cook with.
this oil was not like any real olive oil I have had before, its tasted as a blend and I am 20 years working with olive oil, very dishonest to write italian olives, maybe 5% of them..... very disappointing
I would not recommend this to a friend at the moment. I started buying this as my other favourite olive oil went up in price and now Biona are doing the same. We use a lot of olive oil, at least one bottle every 3 weeks, so this can work out expensive! Will remove this from favourites for now and look for an alternative.
